"So tell me, are you looking forward for the trip?" Oliver asks casually as he grabs his glass of champagne. He looks at me with full attention, his eyes sets on me.

"Not really. Maybe because you suddenly invited me-which I'm really grateful for but you could've at least told me beforehand." I answered truthfully and smile softly. Oliver nods in response and sits straight.

"My apologies miss (y/n). I actually forgot about this party because of work and I found the invitation stacked with the other files while I was checking them. But thank you for agreeing to this, I know it was sudden and I hope you're not saying yes because I'm your boss." Oliver raises his eyebrow.

"Its really fine sir-"

"Oliver sweetheart. I told you when its just the two of us you call me by my name, remember? Or do you want to call me something else-which I don't mind anyway." He says lowly as he leans back in his chair.

Soon our order came and we began to eat. It was somehow comfortably quiet although I still feel embarrassed of his statement before, luckily the whole room was slightly dim or else he would've seen my redden face. After the lovely dinner we went out for a walk passing branded stores.

Oliver stopped in front of a large store and went in holding the door for me. We were welcomed by well dressed salesperson, everywhere I look all I see is expensive clothes, designer bags, shoes that costs more than my paycheck. I sat in one of the couches while Oliver walks around the store being followed by few workers.

Soon two salesperson carrying few boxes and nicely covered outfits are presented to me.

"Well, we don't have all night." Oliver stood tall with his hands in his pockets and sleeves neatly rolled up.

"You said we're only gonna buy a dress." I say overwhelmed. He lets out a deep sigh and sat next to me crossing his legs. "I said shopping not just a dress and don't worry about anything, this won't come out of your paycheck." Oliver snaps his fingers and the workers started unwrapping every item.

"I'll pay for everything sweetheart. Think of it as a treat for working really well." Oliver says husky and winks, resting his arm behind the couch.

After trying out almost every dress and outfits in the store we finally picked few along with shoes and bags. As we stood at the counter I couldn't stop staring at the items almost filling the whole counter, Oliver stood next to me making sure everything is fine.

Once everything is scanned the lady points at the screen and Oliver hands his black card. I looked at it and felt my heart drop instantly.

"What is it, are you okay?" Oliver asks puzzled. I pointed at the screen and he chuckles. "Oh, I see. I told you don't worry about it-its not gonna cost a dent on my bank account." After everything is packed we walk out the store and went in the car.

Oliver made sure everything is in the trunk and hop in the car. The drive was relaxing and peaceful, soft music playing making the ride much more comforting.

"(y/n) we're here." I slowly opened my eyes and look up, I was leaning against Oliver's shoulder while covered by his black coat.

"Did I-sorry I was just really tired from the walking and you know." I chuckled. Oliver smiles sweetly and got out of the car.

"I didn't want to wake you up cause' you were sleeping peacefully and you looked cute." Oliver opens the door and grab the shopping bags.

"Let me take the others, you've done so much for me tonight."

"Nonesense (y/n). A real gentleman never lets a lady get tired or struggle." Oliver nods at his driver and opens the door for us. We walk towards the elevator and got in.
