Forwarding his hands towards the table he got hold of the ivory dices kept there with the last sect of energy present in his body he threw it on the head of the soldier who was busy in a duel with the maiden as the dices touched his scalp and he felt a small current of shock his attention deprived of the maiden and he looked back, keeping this as an opportunity the maiden thrusted her sword in his body.

He fell on the floor due to the penetration of the blade in his stomach and cried in pain. The maiden's hands trembled which were covered in blood and finally the sword slipped from her grip. Without wasting time she rushed towards the man who was breathing heavily. It seemed as if he didn't have much time left.
