A Late-Night Text-Tale

Jinyoung looked at the time
It was 12:30 am now
"Seun-ah are you asleep ?" Jinyoung texted hesitantly

Jackson's eyes were drooping as he worked on the remaining files in his office when suddenly his phone beeped
He looked at his phone screen and it showed 'Parkgae❤️' in notification and Jackson smiled instantly
He picked his phone up and opened the text
But as he looked at the message his eyes went to the clock on his wall,
Jackson's eyes furrowed a bit

"No I am not ...why?? what happened ?????!!! are you not able to sleep !????"  Jackson texted back

"Oh so many question marks ? No need to worry, it's nothing bad " Jinyoung smiled a little , he totally expected that kind of reaction

"Oh thank god!! I thought something
Went down !" Jackson texted as he sighed in relief and layed down on the sofa, where he sat earlier while working on his files

"Nopee it's all goodddd!" Jinyoung texted back as his smile grew bigger

"Oh my godddd soo mannyyy ddd's !?!!
is this the same Park Jinyoung I know?!! " Jackson texted back with an amused smile

"Yes it is babyyyy! " Jinyoung texted back, feeling a bit better already

"Ohhh myyy gooodddd... call me an ambulance please this is the day I die ... Or did I die already ?!" Jackson texted with a big grin
He loved seeing Jinyoung do things that he does
As Jaebeom hyung says 'he is growing on you ' he also adds a disgusted expression and sometimes acts like he is going to puke.... but that's not important
What's important is Jackson loves hearing it
That Jinyoung is growing on him
Aahjhjzkdckv his heart just can't get enough of it

"Oh you drama queen " Jinyoung texted back, chuckling

"Your drama queen"jackson texted instantly

And Jinyoung laughed at that

"So whats up ? You are fine ?" Jackson texted after few seconds

"Yes I am ...thanks to you " Jinyoung replied as he smiled , relaxing more into his blankets and pillow which were all making him feel alone and just  not helping him in anyway to relieve him from his overthinking spree

"Actually today I went on a dinner ...
With my family
And it was really good ...
We all ate and chatted and Gyeomiee was bickering with dad ... They both are such a kid 
Then I and my mom had a talk
Just her and me
And I guess ... As you say ' it will all heal with time' .... I couldn't believe it At first ...but since it was coming from you ..somewhere I had this feeling ... That ..may be.. it might be true ...
And today it really happened

We talked a lot and she was going through so much herself ...I have been such a worthless son... I never saw that pain .... I feel so... I was just whining about myself ... Always selfish ,always making it all about me" a tear trickled down on Jinyoung's pillow as he pressed the send button before he could delete anything he wrote
He doesn't like being vulnerable, being weak
but since it's Jackson... It's alright
Because he knows how to heal him
How to fill him with warmth

As soon as Jackson completed reading the whole thing he felt his heart hurt
"Hey! You are not worthless ! How could you say that ! And selfish ?!
Jinyoung-ah that is sooo damn far away from the truth !!! You didn't see it but in reality You never thought about yourself  ...you did everything to make your mom happy even without knowing what was behind that pain .. you need to love your family, your people but it's also important to love yourself , my love! there is nothing wrong in that ! That rebellious kid that wanted to act  and wanted to do some crafting was actually trying to love himself a bit but as soon as your mom became unhappy with it... You left it ... You actually left your happiness for her ... It seems small to you but it's not ... It is a big deal for a 15 yr old boy who is fascinated by a play so much that he wants to be there and experience it himself  but wasn't able to ... It was a big deal for him ! But you did it all for your mom ... Ofcourse you were scared but deep down you also respected her and loved her and just couldn't disappoint  her and so you left that big deal of yours behind...
Jinyoung-ah you were , you are and you'll always be a great kid and your mom loved you and will love you forever
Things just didn't go smoothly ..but you know, life is filled with rollercoasters
It would be too boring if all had same life and we all were similar people ,am I wrong ?
All have different pains, different personalities, different ways of dealing with things ....
And you my love are a great person
With the kindest of hearts
So never ever belittle yourself understood ?!
You didn't knew and there is nothing wrong about it ... But you are here now ... And now you know it ... So just start from here ....  and I know you'll do it ... And you would be the best son out there ... Like you can win a contest , if one is held that is"
Jackson texted back with a big text
While Jinyoung was feeling s bit anxious and then a bit guilty for behaving like a kid at such an odd hour
He was disturbing Jackson's sleep as well
Oh Jackson was not asleep at this time ? Was he busy ?? He didn't even ask that...! He is actually really selfish- suddenly his phone beeped and he looked at his phone

'Oh my god-' Jinyoung's eyes went a bit big at the length of the text message but he slowly started reading and his tears were flowing freely, making a big wet patch on his pillow and by the end he was crying and now laughing too
Only Jackson can make such mess of him
Thank god he is not on a face time or voice call
Jackson would have ran from wherever he was just to trap him in that bone crushing hug

This dork, who is silly and filled with life... knows every essence of life and
Is there for you whenever you need him
Gives you the best advice
Cheers you up
Makes you cry
Then makes you laugh too
With just few text who can just solve all your fears and heal you

"Jackson ... I love you "Jinyoung texted back as he wipe his tears away ...
The love for the man behind the message just growing beyond his bounds
How is he falling again and again and deeper and deeper for this man on daily basis

"Suddenly ?!! Me toooo !!!!
I love you tooooo a lottttt !!!!
Now stop thinking and sleep! it's late !" Jackson  chuckled and replied back enthusiastically

"Yes I guess I can sleep now.... Thank you ... Good night sleep well my love " Jinyoung replied

"Don't say thankuu, it's totally fine ... You too sleep wellll! good night !"Jackson texted back

Jinyoung closed his eyes at that with a smile and slowly drifted away into the dreamland

Jackson smiled, kept his phone aside  and started working on the file he left earlier on the table

I guess I took a bit longer with this one ...
I usually take too long soo I guess this was not that longer of a break 😅😅

I guess it's just  human nature and everyone feels it in someway or other and sharing it is not a way most  like to go for but I think it helps ...
Because may be overthinking and anxiety doesn't lets you think about the positive sides sooo an another perspective might be great but ofcourse choose the person who might not hurt you further
And remember you are never wrong and if you are, don't be afraid to admit it
And ofcourse love yourself
So like that life lessons with your nosy writer are over for now  😂😂😂
