I am awoken early by my phone ringing over and over and over again. I groan and get out of bed and walk downstairs to get my phone.
"Hello?" I ask groggily.
"Hey get your lazy butt ready, I'm picking you up in 30 minutes.
"It's 7:00 though" I whine.
"Stop being a baby and get ready" she says and hangs up. I go back upstairs and grab a random t-shirt and pants and slip on my converse. I eat a bowl of cereal and finish in just enough time to meet Ellie outside.
"Okay well first, Cameron asked me out again! Our date was amazing!" She squeals.
"Cool what happened?" I ask her.
"We went out to eat first then we walked around for a little. We layed under this tree and looked up and the stars it was so romantic" she sighs dreamily. I roll my eyes.
"Yeah my night was romantic too. Netflix really gets me" I tell her dryly but a smile appears on my face. We make it to the school and we both get out of the car. We walk inside the school and walk around until the bell rings.
At lunch she is talking to Cameron the whole time so it's pretty boring. I look around the cafeteria and see all the bad girls. They are all What a beautiful fantastic amazing day xx it's crazy. They have this rebelish look always on there face and they are laughing and talking loudly with out a care in the world. I envy them greatly as well as all the popular girls and the normals. It's just not fair.
After school I get in Ellie's car but she doesn't take me back to my house.
"Uh Ellie where are we going?" I ask her.
"To my house. I have a surprise for you" she tells me and pulls into her drive way. She shoots me a devious grin and I follow her into her house. We walk up to her bedroom and I sit at her desk.
"Why am I here again?" I ask. She shakes her head stubbornly. I groan and roll my head backwards.
"I'm taking you out" she says shortly and begins rummaging in her closet. I walk over beside her.
"No. No. No. Perfect" she mumbles and pulls out an outfit. 2 of them to be exact.
"Sit down at my vanity" she says. I thought it was a desk but no big deal. I do. She grabs her make up bag and starts doing my hair and make up.
"Can you please tell me where we are going?" I ask her. She shakes her head no. After hours of getting us ready and changing into the outfits. She tells me to get up and look in the mirror. I look different by still plain. Just a little more noticeable than usual. And her she looks stunning. Everything about her looks perfect. All I can think as we make our way to our mystery destination is how we don't look right walking next to each other.
