Hanna -

My feet were sore and my hands were tired from Hadley dragging me around to countless number of stores. Some were designer some were a dollar sign away from a department store. I, who was short on money, didn't buy much besides a new cocktail dress I was pressured into buying.

"I am more comfortable in jeans." I argued when Hadley shoved the revealing dress into my hands. The material screamed skank. I felt exposed just by holding the dress.

"Hanna you can't wear that to a party." Hadley shriveled her nose like it was the most outrageous thing ever to be done.

I scoffed. "Im fine in this, thank you." I shoved the dress back into her frail hands.

"Hanna don't you want to be impress the men?" Hadley raised her eyebrows in a taunting expression.

I couldn't help but laugh. "That would be nice." I hadn't really thought about dating someone else after Harry. I gave into the tempt speaking that I was already going to the party, might as well go all out.

"That's the spirit now go to the Check out I'll be there." Hadley laughed and was off on another aisle before I could process what she said. The aisles of the store were packed with party dresses, many girls about my age paced down the numerous aisles contempletating an suitable outfit, all alike Hadley.

Before I knew it a large shopping bag was placed into my hands with a wink from the cashier man. I gave him a look of disgust. His hair was a brown color and he had a cute boyish look on his face. He had a distinquished jawline and defined collarbone. His eyes were a captivating color of blue that could be easily mistaken as green. He was actually very handsome and had this adventurous look in his eyes. He seemed decent and well enough to talk to but for some reason I couldn't get my mouth to move but my feet were already out the door.

I waited for Hadley but she seemed to take forever as I impatiently paced the sidewalk and memorized every crack and pebble to be seen. After ten unnerving minutes I pushed through the front doors with annoyance written on my face.

"Hadley." I frown as I see her chatting non-stop with the boy at the counter, the one who winked at me. The one who I should of given a chance.

"Hey this is Louis, louis this is the one and only Hanna Sullivan." Hadley cheerfully introduces me. Her voice matches a five year olds and I can't refrain from rolling my eyes.

Something inside of Louis pops and his eyes immediately scan my body, I suddenly feel self- conscious, some old habits never seem to die. His face is bright with recognition though I swear I have never seen this guy before.

"So this is the famous Hanna Sullivan." Louis says and licks his lips in amusement.

"You two know each other?" Hadley's eyes dim with disappointment, I remember her yelling at me for "stealing all her male opportunities". Not my fault I'm fabulous.

I shake my head viciously. "How do you know my name?" Im curious for his answer, I don't talk much around the city and have few to none friends besides Hadley. Me i know that I haven't seen him around because I'm sure I'd know those blue eyes.

"Harry talked about you all the time." Louis gives an uneasy smile, An odd twitching feeling in my head almost turns me around and shoves me out the door. My heart can't stop beating, I can hear the faint noises it creates and wish this pain would diminish.

"He thinks your dead you know," Louis whispers. "He's a complete asshole but people have told me that it was different with you around."

Hadley looks utterly confused and her eyes flicker from me to Louis and back. The only thing she knows is that me and Harry had a small fling that went under noticed by the press and the whole world. It's astounding what a small computer freak can do online.
