As a surprise, when we were teleported out of Aether's basecamp, we found ourselves in Wangshu Inn at my favorite view point. Then, I remembered what mother said about keeping my identity a secret until the time was right.

"Xiao, is it ok if I borrow your mask for a while?"

"Why do you need my mask, Lumine?"

"Remember what my mother said about the identity stuff? That's what I need before someone walks in on us."

"Just use your fatui mask for now, Verr Goldet has a couple masks in her storage room I believe."

"...Alright I guess."

We walked through the inn and found Verr Goldet's desk and she gave me a mask.

"Why do you need a mask my dear?"

"No big reason. Thanks for the mask, Verr Goldet!"

"What's your name my dear?"

I didn't see that question coming, honest

"Ummm, no problem?"

I could tell Verr Goldet was suspicious so I left right away, avoiding all the big crowds, just like what typical Xiao would do. I could tell he was perfectly fine with all the turns because he avoided crowds all the time.

"Xiao, is it ok if we just go through a teleport waypoint out of here?"

"You know I'm fine with it."

"Let's go then"

I took the nearest teleport waypoint outside of the city and that's when I saw it.

"Xiao, there's so many camps of hilichurls on all of those islands... "

"Then let's go kill them."

I drew my blade then I saw something.

"Xiao! This is my old blade that I used against the unknown god!"

"Then let's see what good use you can make with your old powers and sword."
