Heroin

I watch as you try to conceal your pain

It kills me because I watch you in vain

My love that once held you strong has worn thin

I've tried to help but to the addiction you gave in

Behind closed doors you roll up your sleeve

Crying because your ready for relief

Your body responds to the needle prick

Your eyes roll back as you loosen the tourniquet

I bang on the door fearful of what I'll find inside

My heart breaks as I reach you my tears won't subside

Your body nearly lifeless it's about to give in

To the abuse you put it through called Heroin.
