In every story there's a ending. Whether we like it, or not. Some endings are good, while others are bad. When a person dies at the end of a story, it's common to think it's bad. So what about human life? If we die does the world consider it bad, or does the story continue on with another's life.

Last I could remember, I was walking home from work. The busses were closed and it didn't seem to dark outside so I took my chances. Boy was I wrong to go out alone. When I least expected it, from behind, I was stabbed by a man I didn't know. I couldn't see his face and when I fell to the ground, my blood came gushing out. Then my eyes became heavy and I blacked out. Now I woke up in a endless array of clouds. There was nothing around but clouds. I got up on my feet and looked around, until suddenly from nowhere a little box appeared. I looked at it for a few seconds then picked it up. I opened it and inside was a note that said, "turn around". I did as the box said and when I did, there was a placement of a low table with two cushions. It was definitely a Japanese style "room", but there were no walls so I guess I couldn't call it that. When I walked up to the cushion, I sat down. Then a young man suddenly appeared out of thin air and sat down on the other cushion. He grabbed a tea pot and two cups from the air then poured out some tea.
God: go ahead~ you can drink some. It's hot.
Lilith: umm, wh-who are you?
God: I'm God~
Lilith: G-god?
God: god~ and you are?
Lilith: L-Lilith
God: Lilith? But you look Asian?
Lilith: My parents adopted me. W-where am I?
God: Heaven. Unfortunately you were killed by my sister.
Lilith: sister? But- But a man killed me?! I'm certain!
God: my sister is a god like I am. She has abilities as well. She goes into different lives as whoever she pleases, but my sister a god of death, so she goes around killing people in whatever world she lives in. You were an accident by her and I'm quite sorry on her behalf, but I'd like to make it up to you with a deal.
Lilith: a deal?
God: yes, you can live any live you choose, with the exception that my sister will be allowed to kill you. There will be some restrictions of course, such as no brutal deaths. It will be quick and hopefully not too painful. She can't kill you instantly, so you'll be able to enjoy some of your life. And lastly BOTH of you can not go telling others about me and my sister being gods, as well as this agreement if we make it.
Lilith: wha-what about my old life? I had a daughter and a husband. What will happen to them!
God: they will have to move on eventually and continue their lives. But if you may like, after each of your deaths, we can have you take a peek into how their doing. From heaven that is.
Lilith: that. . . That seems quite fair I suppose, but . . . What will happen to my body. This one?
God: you'll get a new one. You change it each life or just stick with what you choose. But I'm afraid you won't be able to keep the body you're in now.
Lilith: o-oh, umm, how do I choose a body then?
God: (gasp) so agree to the terms?!
Lilith: I- . . . Yes! I do!
God: oh good! Here's the paper. This contract will last for eternity until you choose to not be in the agreement anymore. After that you will be sent to heaven for the rest of your life.
Lilith: wait!- what's the difference with taking this contract or just going to heaven?
God: we offer this to certain people with promise, but your death was a complete accident so we had no choice to offer this. This gives the user in agreement the ability to give life many chances. And not to mention in heaven there's only pure feelings and happiness. Like~ . . . there's no alcohol, romance between people, children- since age isn't real there -, money, or even sex!~
Lilith: s-sex?
God: well I doubt you'll have to worry about that, so when ever you're ready you can sign.
I stared at the paper for a few seconds then took a deep breath and signed my name.
Lilith: soo. . . .
God: time to make your new look!
Lilith: h-how do I choose. Is it. . . like a game?
God: yup! You have a the ability to change your ethnicity a little since the places your going won't have most Asian looks. But in the next life of you would like to change it, you can. Then there's hair color and type of hair, for when it grows out. If you decide to cut it, just know the setting you choose will eventually happen when the cut grows longer.
Lilith: so if my hair's wavy when short, if I chose straight, it'll grow out and become straight?
God: yes. For your natural hair. . . Oh! Then there's eye and facial feature, but the ones given are for around a teen to adult type, so you won't notice them at first.
Lilith: o-oh, ok then. . .
I then chose what I wanted to look like in the new world I would live in. I chose a semi-slender face with beautiful emerald green eyes. For my hair, it was a bright red with the slightest waviness in it, but for the most part it would be straight. (Look at pic above)
Lilith: umm, about my appearance. . . Is my ya'know, weight up to me, or so you help in that.
God: oh, of course! If you'd like I can keep you skinny your whole life or not. As a bonus you also won't go through an awkward puberty faze.
Lilith: that would be nice thank you. So if I eat a lot I won't gain weight.
God: yup! You'll be average at everything-
Lilith: actually, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to be able to grow strong, like with a sword, or something. Ah! But I don't know what kind of world your sending me too.
God: one with magic and nobility.
Lilith: oh, then ok- ya I'm good with that.
God: are you ready then?
Lilith: (whispers) wha-what about a name?
God: (whispers) who would you like to be?
Lilith: Lilith
God: then that's who you will be. If you ever need my help, just call me out with a prayer. I come as fast as I can. Ok?
Lilith: ok. . . fweeew. I'm nervous.
God: there's nothing to be nervous about. Good luck~
God rose up to his feet the reached out a hand for me. I got up and pat off my butt from sitting on it and god gave a bow with a smile. He then winked, and as soon as he did, my vision went black and it seemed like I was waking up from a nap. There was a loud baby crying noise and when I came to my senses, I realized that baby was ME!
