Aggression and Denial

'We were too close to the stars
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Falling just as hard
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise
I see my reflection in your eyes ' The lyrics of the song blurred Jimin's vision as he stared at the blank sheet and the pencil he held between his fingers. It had been three days. Three days since He started smashing his phones to pieces by throwing them on the wall. Three days since the tears just didn't stop. Three days since the aggression was like boiling lava waiting to explode out.

He dialled Daehye's number yet again. But nevertheless it was all futile. The call went to voicemail without a single ring. She proved him right when she said that once it was over- it would be the last thing to be lie worthy. The innocent phone was again about to get thrown but an incoming cal stopped him from doing that.

"Yes mom?" He picked up the call. "Yaah you- you don't care for your eomma. No phone calls, no texts what is wrong?" A high pitch voice calmed him a little. But he remained silent, for the fact that he didn't want his voice to crack.

"Son, are you okay?"

"I'm okay." His voice cracked a little like he precedented. "Okay lemme guess. You can't write a song? You fought with Taehyung for another dumpling? You fought with Daehye- yes the last one has the highest probability" He smiled. At the fact that how well she knew him.

"Eomma, Daehye isn't even my type- she can't make samgyeopsal, she runs away from pork. She doesn't cook food. She doesn't like non veg food much. Except chicken. She can be ruthless at times and she can have cyanide like words spit out her mouth, if there was a women's community in Kaist for stem then she would be the president and I love her."

"See, girls are not all about food." Her mother laughed silently but stopped. A long pause. The only thing audible was his sniffles. "Son, what you did-" and then the phone was cut. Not by him but because of the phone battery was out. "Aish fuck you." And then the forth phone was slammed to pieces. That's how rich people take out their frustration.

The studio room located beside him was suffering mid life crisis. Well not the room but the owner of that room. Not Bang Si Hyuk. Kim Taehyung yes.

"Even Ara won't be this fucked up when we have a kid, Park Jimin what the fuck" he got out of his room mumbling curses. Troubling his friend soulmate was the last thing on Taehyung's mind. He didn't wanted to ignite anymore melancholic thoughts of his. Enough was already on the surface.

So he did what he thought was right. He went to the graveyard. He stared at Grace's tombstone. The sunlight and the sky was so clear. The air was fresh. But the mood wasn't. This wasn't the first time Taehyung was here, maybe it won't be the last too. "What to do? How can I help your ex boyfriend-" he stopped mid sentence when his eyes got redirected towards the ash jar. And the moon shaped pendant beside it with the a bouquet of lilacs.

His memory took him back to the night where Jimin was on a lunatic search for his lost pendant. After finding the pendant, how calm and composed he was compared to his previous episodes. To get rid of Grace's memories, Taehyung had been advising him to get rid of anything which had her. Yes he was successful in that, he even made Jimin shift his entire fucking house.

But very nonchalantly Jimin said that he won't throw the pendant away. For as long as he didn't feel as elated as he was with Grace. Taehyung rebelled against his decision and it resulted in Jimin setting up the standards high. 'Double the support and happiness I felt with Grace.' He said before leaving. But here the pendant was now. Jimin got rid of it. Daehye was the sole reason.
