This is a short sweet special chapter. It's sort of a sneak peak to Jimin and Daehye's past. It also has their best friends. I won't be able to update the 23 chap for now since it has like 3000 words and stuff and I'm really having some problems rn. So enjoy this peeps.
Past Diaries-2
Jimin stared at his feet as the moonlight gave a little silver shine to his black hair. He was content for now. As Taehyung and Namjoon who were introduced to him a month back played tag in the park illuminated by the street lights, their squeals and giggling kept him entertained.
A swift breeze gave him a light shudder, and a scream was heard. A scream which wasn't a scream but more of a cry. He concentrated for a second but it was utter silence yet again.
Glancing around he spotted a girl on the floor, her cheeks wet with tears and her whole knee was scraped, the other girl standing beside her had tension spread on her face. She looked around, her eyes scanning the area for someone elder and as she made eye contact with Jimin, she ran towards him.
"Oppa my friend fell from the swing, can you please lend me your phone so that i can inform my parents?" Her blunt short hair were tied in a half pony, the sixteen year old Park Jimin had some real trouble in translating what she said in English.
"Namjoon hyung." He yelled unable to decipher her words. "Uhm." He stuttered a little as she looked at him with pleading eyes. Come on Jimin, you're the topper of your school, sure as hell you can have a simple conversation in English. He said to himself.
Namjoon was running towards Jimin. Upon reaching he had already understood the problem well. "Hey sweetie is there something bothering you?" He crouched.
"Oppa can you please call my parents?" She turned her head away from Jimin and looked at Namjoon. "Sure thing, tell me their number." Namjoon gave her a smile took out his phone from his pocket. After a minute he was already talking to her father, informing them about their location.
"He'll be here in five minutes." Namjoon said to her. Without saying a word she ran off to her injured friend and the three young boys followed her. "Ara, papa will be here. These sweet oppas helped us." She sat next to Ara and blowed on her wound as if that would cure it.
"Aww." Taehyung' s uwu level hit the max and gave Ara a lollipop. "Here's a treat for you being a brave girl."
"How old are you?" Jimin curiously asked, thinking if the question was correctly framed. "I'm Min Daehye and I'm nine years old." She got up and extended her hand to Jimin.
"I'm Jimin and I'm sixteen years old." He lightly shook her hand as her as he smiled at her, "Oppa you're sooo tall and big." And that statement was all it took for Jimin's brain to get switched off,
"Sorry but I don't know how to speak English." Jimin said.
"Ara, Jimin Oppa just said that he doesn't know how to speak English and he said that in English." Ara took a break from sucking her strawberry lollipop only to laugh with her head falling back.
"Whatever god. I don't get half the things they are saying but they're too cute." Jimin looked at Taehyung but he was already punching the grass on the ground, chanting, "aaaahhhh god cute."
After a few minutes of wait, Daehye was already fast asleep on Ara's little shoulder. As for Ara, she tried to get up to throw the plastic stick in her hand but was unable to do so due to her injured leg. "Wait here I'll go and throw it." Taehyung took the wrapper and the stick from her.
Big hit entertainment had recently short listed their trainees , and here Jimin was a full fledged nervous wreck- thinking about his future. He was one of the last ones to join, with so less time and with so many people competing for the same position, anxiety was running through and through in his nerves. Namjoon was too talented and Taehyung was too beautiful. All Jimin had maybe was his dance skills. From at least his perspective.
"Thank you Oppa." Was all she said, maybe it was because of her injured leg, maybe it was because she was tired. A few more minutes passed and a man in his thirties came rushing towards them.
"Aish." He bent over a little, the boys unsure whether it was to thank them or to pick up his kids. "Thank you so much. I wonder what would've happened if you guys weren't here." He bowed again.
"It's alright, kids do end up hurting themselves. We were obliged to help." Namjoon bowed back. After a few minutes of thanking and constantly bowing- the typical Asian things, they bid goodbye to each other; with Ara on Mr.Min's back and Daehye still giddily jumping and skipping steps.
"Appa teach me how to speak Korean too." She said while grasping her father's hand and he smiled back at her curiosity. That is what young minds are; brimming with curiosity, the curiosity is there in every age but it's just that people hide it at times.
"Sure sweetie."
{A/U} The irony of the fact that how Jimin was called tall and big for the first time by the love of his life and he didn't understand it.
