The Magical Peoplez

Chapter 4

I woke up. I looked at my phone to see what time it was. It said 11:57 am.
"Crap were late! Wake up!" I said.
"Whuhhh? Let me sleep." Said Ashley.
"Guys we're meeting our friends at noon at the tree at school that is in three minutes!"
"We can run there in three minutes!" Yelled Christine.
"We're in our pajamas!" Replied Ashley.
"Who cares we're getting powers!" I said. I charged out the door yelling, "For Narnia!" In a British accent. Ashley and Christine followed, and we ran all the way to school. I am not very athletic and I hate running, so I was pretty slow. When we finally got to the tree at school, I realized that we were not the only ones who forgot. Kristen, Cass, Alyssa, and Ella were also in their pajamas and looked tired. Sadie, Katy, Ariel, and Brianna were the only ones who looked like they remembered. Luna wasn't even there yet.
"It looks like we're not the only ones who totally forgot." I said.
"No der!" Yelled Cass. She says that too much.
"What is taking Luna so long?" I asked.
"I'm here!" Luna said. She, like most of us, ran here in our pajamas. "Let's get our powers!" She yelled.
We climbed the tree onto the clouds. We remembered the way to the magic council meeting and in a few minutes we got there.
"I have been expecting you." said King Zinthos. I noticed that he was the only one there. Probably because we were going to be wizards and he was the king of the wizards.
"We will test you with each element to see what power you will get, but first you must get wands. We will go outside to the training area." He told us
We walked outside and he led us to what I guess was the training area. It looked like an empty field with some targets, and a pile of wands in a bucket.
"The wand will choose you. Open your hand and wait for a wand to fly into your hand." We did as he said and after a few minutes everyone had one. They all looked different, but all looked like wood with a crystal at the end.Mine was long and thin, light brown, and smooth. It had a round clear crystal on the end. I waved it, and it blew me away. Literally. Wind shot out and I started flying.
"It looks like you will be a wind wizard, Rachel." Said King Zinthos.
Everyone began to wave their wands, and it was hilarious. Ashley lit a target on fire, Christine drenched Luna, Luna ended up covered in squirrels, Alissa struck a tree with lightning, Ella froze Ashley, who melted it, Katy turned Sadie pink, Sadie turned herself into a rabbit, Kristen started singing and made animals be musical, Cass make a rock fly into Ella, Ariel made a random plant grow, and Brianna made a metal spoon fly at herself.
"These are your powers, apparently. Rachel got wind, Ashley got fire, Christine got water, Luna got animals, Alissa got lightning, Ella got ice, Katy got rainbow, Sadie is a shapeshifter, Kristen got music, Cass got earth, Ariel got nature, and Brianna got metal." Okay, I got wind.
"YES!" I yelled. This is the power I wanted.
"Okay, now we will train. When you go home, and do combat training on your trampoline like you used to pretend to except with actual powers."
"How-" Ashley started.
"I'm a mind reader."
We trains for a few hours and by the time we went home we could actually hit the target and not each other.

So now they have their powers! I know it took me a while to update. Sorry! I will not be able to update again until at least Sunday because I will be going to Mojave and I can't bring my phone. I am not sure if I will update Sunday, but it will not be before then.
