The Chosen Warriors Return

Prologue

Pallet Town, Kanto Region.

Ash's P.O.V

Walking home smiling my Galar Journey, I made several new friends and helped coax four of those friends out of their shells. These four friends were named Goh, Chloe, Bea, and Marnie. I even helped save Galar. My old friends agreed to come and visit me when they had a chance and if I wasn't traveling, but every year I head out on a new journey trying to accomplish my dream of becoming a Pokemon Master. So, when they come and visit me, I'm back here in Pallet Town or in the same Region, city, or town like several of my other friends have done in the past.

I looked down from the hill that over looked the town, it was then I saw the signpost. Written there was Welcome to Pallet Town, home to the world-famous Professor Oak. I smiled.

"One day, my name will be added to that sign," I said. Pikachu only nodded in agreement.

I walked down towards the town and had one destination in mind: Professor Oak's Lab. I was told when I got back to head straight there and and that was my plan, but I had a feeling that that I needed to keep my guard up and that is exactly what I was doing as I kept glancing around wondering what would happen next. It was a short walk to Professor Oak's Lab since it was the first building you pas when you enter Pallet Town, so it took about 5 minutes walking from the hill. The reason it was the first building was because the boats dock at the other side of Pallet Town and most trainers starting their journeys head straight for Viridian City.

When I arrived at the Lab, I went straight inside and felt a shiver run down my spine and my gut was telling me to run, and normally I would listen to it but not this time. I'm not going to run away from this. I was told that it was important, and it is why I'm here. I walk on to the corral and see what looked to be the whole town. I smile as I see my friends (minus Dawn, Brock, my Alolan Friends and Family, Gary, and Jax), but they are all glaring at me. I see my mom standing next to Professor Oak, and finally my eyes landed on them. The leaders of the six Evil Organizations that I helped take down, with the exception of Team Rocket as they were still active. The biggest surprises for me were Cyrus and Lysandre, as I was certain that they were as good as dead last time I saw them. They each had sick smirks on their faces and I put my guard up as Giovanni took a step forward.

"Welcome home, young man," he said with that sick smirk plastered on his face.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, keeping my guard up.

"Well, let's just say that a few people have finally seen the truth," he replied as my mom, my friends and the people of the town stepped forward.

"What does that mean?" I demanded in a pissed off tone that they were here. "What truth are you talking about?"

"It means that we've finally seen that you and your pathetic dreams held us all back from achieving our dreams!" Misty replied, walking forwards and slapping me as hard as she could.

"She's right, you did nothing but lead us down the wrong paths in our lives!" Cameron said, coming forward next and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and punched me in the stomach and I dropped to my knees.

Next was May, but she, Chloe, and the others backed away when I looked up and gave them an "I dare you" look. After a moment of silence, I started hearing people from Pallet Town shout insults at me, like failure, Pokemon Master what a joke, Pride of Pallet Town more like Shame of Pallet Town, and cheater, but I never believed any of them. They have betrayed me, none of them have gotten as far as I have. I clenched my fist as the insults continued and even though I didn't believe them, they still hurt a lot.

I felt something hit me on the head and as I got back up, I noticed that someone had thrown a rock at me and soon after, other people were throwing rocks as well. I was doing my best to block the ones that were coming for my face and after a moment, they finally stopped. I looked in front of me and noticed that Pikachu had gone over to the traitors' side, but smiled a sad smile that Quilava was standing in front of me engulfed in a blue flame showing that he learned Flare Blitz. I also noticed that Lucario was blocking an attack from May's Blaziken, Dragonite was actually holding Iris's Dragonite back with the fiercest glare I had ever seen, Gengar was sending Shadow Ball after Shadow Ball at Misty's Golduck, Sir Fetch'd was engaged in a duel with Clemont's Luxray, and Dracovish had Cilan's Semisage in his mouth and thrashing him about. After the flame around Quilava vanished, he was hit with the recoil but showed no signs that it affected him. Then the people began throwing stuff at me again, only this time more of my Pokemon blocked them from hitting me and finally I had many of my Pokemon taking my side. I could see Bulbasaur, my whole herd of Tauros, Charizard, Heracross, Totodile, Bayleef, Noctowl, Donphan, Sceptile, Swellow, Torkoal, Infernape, Gliscor, Gible, Buizel, Torterra, Staraptor, Pignite, Snivy, Krookadile, Scraggy, Leavanny, Talonflame, Noivern, and Hawlucha (A/N: remember, Greninja is with Zygarde, Goodra is at the Wetlands, and Ash's Alolan Team is with Professor Kukui).
