Forks is boring。I have been here for a few weeks so far, living with Hannah Bauble in a small house that blended in with the tree line. The house, itself, is isolated enough that no one would notice the strange vehicles and such, but not isolated enough to cause suspicion.
But Forks is still boring. Hannah was already a good friend of mine when we met in the Autobot base, she was a British soldier hand-picked by Ironhide to join the NEST team. She's a great soldier that specialises in undercover and scouting work for the Autobots, but I'm not sure what the term is. I've never been a part of the military until the accident and I still don't understand now, after being a part of it for some time.
Currently, the British soldier sits on her laptop tracking the Decepticon signals that have been popping up all over this mundane town.
"I've identified the definite Decepticon signal, they've mostly been in Seattle but they've recently made more appearances in these woods. But I don't know who they are." Hannah starts, beckoning me over to look at her screen. "I've also studied possible Decepticons within the town that may be hiding their signal like how Barricade has been known to do."
"Is it those, what's their name? Um, Cullens?" I ask with uncertainty in the name, leaning to sit on the arm rest beside her. The Cullens or whatever they are called are very suspicious to me, their eyes are unusual but not in a 'quirky' type of way but in an unsettling way. They also have features that Autobots tend to use in their holoforms, their skin is clear and smooth and not one part of them looks flawed to the American society's standards. They also give me these strange looks whenever I go past them, especially the one seen most frequently with the chief of police's daughter. I wouldn't mind if they were the Decepticons, they're so pretentious that I want to punch them or shoot them or anything really.
"They are definitely possible suspects, but I've also identified a few people with red eyes. Here I'll show you." She taps a few buttons and brings up some photographs she took while out searching, the digital photographs all feature people with red eyes and perfect American features. "Red eyes, they're obviously different from Decepticons in their Cybertronian forms but maybe this is the human equivalent?"
