~~(Y/N) POV~~

      I give a small laugh as I watch as Rosemary skips around the garden, content on catching Fat Nuggets.
      "They're too cute!" Angel and Charlie gush excitedly while watching them.
       "Yeah. Rosie's never had a friend before with the other deer so this is new to her." I confess with a smile as I reopen my book to the page I had marked.
       "I can't believe these roses are alive! It's so hard to find flowers in Hell." Niffty says with a smile while watering them with Alastor and Husk.
      "It took me a lot of hard attending to do so but the results were amazing!" Alastor says with a smile as he spreads some fertilizer on the soil.
      It's been four weeks since my kidnapping. Alastor's having to get used to having little demon power (even though I transferred back as much of his power as I could). Then I'm having to deal with the added power that his combined with mine has given me.
     It's been tough but we've worked together to help each other.

     Alastor looks up as I laugh as Charlie splashes Vaggie with water from the fountain. Our eyes meet before his softens a bit as he looks at me as I smile at him and give a small wave. He gives an amused chuckle before doing the same.
 

  I'll apologize to him tonight after they all leave. It's long overdue. I think with a small laugh before standing. "Al, I'm going to head inside to get some towels for the girls and maybe make a few sandwiches for everyone." I state as I point towards the large estate.
     "I'll go with you. It'll be no trouble." He quickly interjects as he stands, Angel joking about us not taking too long before we head for the mansion.
     "I'm gonna grab the towels real quick." I say before heading to the downstairs bathroom and grabbing a good amount of towels, knowing the others were probably were dragged in too. Today's been nice. Being off. I think as I set the towels on the dining table's corner before heading into the kitchen where Alastor's already making sandwiches, slightly struggling from not being able to use magic.
     He turns as I knock on the doorframe with an amused look on my face. "You never realize how magic dependent you are until you barely have any." Alastor claims, making me laugh.
     "Believe me, if I could give you all your magic back, I would. There's too many voices in my head. Plus your old shadow keeps scaring me in the shower." I claim while going over and grabbing the picnic basket and old blanket.
     "Good to know they're doing well." He replies, making me laugh lightly.
     It drifts to a comfortable but slightly odd silence as we fix lunch together.
     "How-"
     "Al-" We both pause as we try and speak at once.
     He gives a chuckle before nodding to urge me on.
    "I have to tell you something that's far too long overdue." I state before I sigh. "You were right. I was far too weak and stupid to realize how awful and competitive Hell can be. I'm sorry-"
     "It was my fault for not taking you out more. I should have known that a caged bird would want to fly." Alastor says as he grabs one of my hands. "I'm sorry too. I got there later than I wished."
     "No, Alastor, I never apologized for that morning or or," I stumble before I groan. "That awful day that I said so many awful things to you just because you didn't tell me your name. I was so incredibly stupid for doing that. I just love you so much and never wanted anything to changed since our life seemed perfect-"
     "I was going to tell you that night. I was hoping that if I told you, you wouldn't react like how you did. But I finding out because of them didn't let it happen." Alastor says as he leans against the counter.
     "I'll admit that I very much overreacted-"
     "Yes but no, I did basically lie to you our entire relationship. Friend wise and when we were together." He claims quickly while rubbing the back of his neck.
      It drifts to an awkward silence as we stand and look at each other.
      What should I say? I don't think I have the right to ask if I can still marry him or not. What if he's lost feelings—
      "Oh, for fucks sake! Just fucking kiss and give her back the ring!" Vaggie yells, making us both look towards the door as our friends look towards the normally tsundere lesbian.
      I give a small laugh before turning back to the man I love. "You heard the woman." I say before grabbing his tie and pulling him down for a deep, needing kiss.
      Alastor deepens in kiss quickly as he pulls me flush against him as he holds the back of my head. "(Y/n), will you marry me?" He asks with a loving smile.
     "Yes, Alastor. I shouldn't have ever took that ring off in the first place." I say with a smile as I slide on the ring before pulling him back in for another kiss as our friends cheer in the background.

{TIME SKIP} ~~ALASTOR POV~~

     I once again can be found staring at the content face of my sleeping lover as she's finally back where she belongs after a month of useless arguments.
     Our bed in our room.
     I'll never be able to get over how gorgeous she is. I think with a soft smile before pulling her flush against me and breathing in her scent. Charlie shouldn't mind if we're late for sleeping in an extra few hours. We're in Hell. We've got all the time we could need. I think happily before closing my eyes and burying my face in the crook of her neck.
     This is the best way I'd want to live down here. It might not be too awful with her by my side.
