~ Fred's POV ~
I kept running and running hoping I would find Salem soon when a twig snapped. I stopped and looked all around.
All of a sudden, I was jumped on from behind and was knocked out. I hoped Salem would stop who ever took me but I don't have good luck.
~ Adelyn's POV ~
I woke up to find myself on the same cot that belonged to the cabin. How did I get here?
" Salem, she's up," a familiar voice said.
I looked up at the fire place to find Sophie. I jump up in a fighting stance ready to take her but someone picks me up and throws me on the bed.
" Calm down!" The voice that through me said harshly. I look up to see Salem. He was being mean to me. What is going on? He must really hate me.
I sit up and look at the floor. Why did he stop loving me? It shouldn't matter for his is what I wanted. I wanted him to find someone right for him but it still hurts.
" Adelyn?" Sophie said kneeling down in front of me.
I get up and walk out the door. I can't be in that room with them and I won't.
I'm lifted off the ground and I'm floating back into the room where I am slammed back into the bed.
" Leave again and I won't be so nice," Salem barked. What is wrong with him?
" Why? Why do you want me here?" I spit out. If he wants to be mean, I will be to.
" Because we need to carry on with the mission."
" I couldn't agree more. All we've been doing is sitting around doing nothing. We need to fight," I said.
" Yeah, at least I wasn't making out with someone's friend who i said i loved," he spit out angrily.
" This is why your mad at her? Wow, Drama!" Sophie said with a grin clearly enjoying our argument.
" What are you talking about? I've never even kissed anyone. How would I make out with your friend?"
" Oh, yes you did!"
Has he bumped his head or something? How would he know if I did anyway? If he was spying on me, then he needs to get his eyes checked.
" Is this why you're mad at me?"
" Duh!" He said getting red in the face.
" I never kissed anyone! Okay? Who told you this?" I asked getting mad. Who would tell him such a thing?
" I saw it. Well sort of. Jason's ability is where he can see anything anywhere when ever he wants. It just has to be during the present. He showed me you making out with Fred," he said looking at the ground.
" He must have manipulated it into something else becasue I never kissed him!" I said.
" No, that isn't possible. Even his trainer told me he can't do that. Everything he sees is true."
" Really? And who is his trainer?"
" Jerry"
" Jerry Connor?" I asked the name ringing a bell with my instincts.
" Yeah, how do you know him?"
" Hold on, " I said as I let the instincts take over.
He was a boy with red hair, freckles, brown eyes, big muscles, six foot three, and he was pale. He had the same ability as Jason but he could make up a vision.
I looked through his memories until I came across the one I was looking for.
~ Flashback ~
I was in a cabin that looked just like cabin I was in. It looked younger and Jason was standing in front of Jerry talking.
" I need you to tell Salem I can't manipulate with my visons. Please? He can't know or it will ruin my plan."
" What's in it for me?"
" I'll get you a date with Kimberley."
" Deal!" Jerry said shaking Jason's hand.
~ End of flashback ~
" Jerry lied to you!" I said.
" How would you know?" Sophie said.
" Any proof?" Salem said.
" I just saw it! How do I show you?" I asked.
" I don't know," he said harshly.
" What is going on? " Sophie asked.
" A vision. "
" OK, I'll see if I can show you, " I said.
I was nervous to try using my abilities that haven't came in by themselves yet.
I thought about that vision floating from my brain to his. I imagined him being able to have the same vision I just had.
I fell down to the ground with pain in my head. It felt like someone was in my head banging with a hammar to get out.
" Adelyn?" Sophie said running to my side.
" Salem! " Sophie yelled.
I eventually felt Salem pick me up in his arms and whisper, " You were right and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," he said as he kissed my head.
I was in so much pain I blacked out. I love you, Salem. I hope I get to see him again.
