Chapter Thirty Seven

~ Fred's POV ~
I was just getting to the cabin when I saw Adelyn slip into the woods.
I was wandering what she was doing so I followed her until she his behind a tree in front of a clearing. I the clearing I saw Jaosn and Evelyn. So she is spying to?
I listen carefully to what Jason is telling Evelyn.
" I want you to know that we can be something great. I like you. I love you, Evelyn, and I want you to be mine. Will you?" Jason asked.
" Um...I don't know. I don't know you. Jason, is that why you brought me out here?" Evelyn said.
" Yes, and I want you to know my plan. I want to rule the dimensions with you. I want you to be my queen."
" Wait, what?!"
" I know it sounds crazy but it is not. Forget Adelyn and Salem. Forget them all and be with me. Be my queen. Rule the dimensions with me, your Twin Soul."
" I don't know, Jason. This is crazy. Abandon my friend for a stranger?"
" I'm not a stranger. I'm your Twin Soul."
" If you care for me so much how about we be happy with Adelyn saving the dimensions. After all this is over we can be together. I love you to. It's a shocker but I feel it to but I won't do that to my friend. I'm not evil. I might seem like a slut but I'm not evil. I want to change. We can change together and be something better, " Evelyn said. I didn't expect that. Jason practically gave her the whole world and she said no.
" I don't know. I want revenge."
" For what?"
" Salem took Ashley from me."
" Well what is better revenge than to show him you are stronger by having a girlfriend. I won't leave you for him. I always be here for you," Evelyn said caressing his face.
" I geuss...no..I can't. I was born to be evil."
" Well you can always change your life. You might be born to do something but you can go along with it as you wish. You don't have to follow anyone's footsteps but your own."
" Your right. I'll try. I'll give up this for you," Jason said kissing her forehead.
In all my years I never expected to see someone like Jason change for anyone. The power of love I geuss. I wish I had someone to love.
~ Adelyn's POV ~
I can't believe it! Jason is going to change for my best friend. Love, isn't love a beautiful thing. I just need to get Fred a lady.
I started back until I saw Fred behind a tree not far from mine.
" What are you doing here?" I asked.
" I didn't find Salem so I came back. I saw you walk out here and I was curious. Beautiful thing right? Evelyn and Jason?"
" Yeah," I whispered walking back before we were caught.
" I..did Salem come back?" Fred said. It seemee he wanted to say something else but he chose something else to say. I wander what it was.
" Yeah, I cleared everything out. It's a long story but let's just say it wasn't pretty."
" What happened. You have me intrigued."
" Well...nah I won't tell you," I said.
" Your sun a tease," Fred said.
" Well thank you," I said as I ran away to the cabin.
" This isn't over!" Fred yelled.
" Well I said it is!" I yelled back.
I ran into the cabin to find Salem missing.
" Where is Salem?" I asked looking at Fred.
" It beats me."
" No...is he still mad? I thought he believed me," I said all hope gone as I sat down on the bed wanting to cry my eyes out. Why can't something go right for once? Why? I asked as I out my head in the pillow.
" I'm so sorry Adelyn, " Fred said.
" Me to," I mumbled into the pillow.
" Hey where is Salem?" Jason said as he walked in the room with Evelyn on his arm.
" I wish I knew," I muttered.
