Jackson paced the length of his living room, his deep red carpet imprinted with his footprints. Ethan watched as Jackson scowled at what ever he was thinking. Ethan also frowned, he doesn't like it when his long time friend is bothered. Jackson usally has a gut feeling that is pen point. Its abilty to guess is sometimes scary, but he guessed that comes with being the Clan's leader.
"What did Roslen say about Vallen?" Ethan asked to snap Jackson out of it before he walked a ditch through the floor boards.
"Not much. Just that she's feeling better. Though something is not settleing with me. Maybe, I'm--I'm just imagineing it." Jackson repiled.
Ethan tried to restrain his laughter. Yea right, Ethan thought, Your gut is yelling at you somethings up.Jackson glared at him. Ethan held up his hands in surrender. But before he could explain himself a knocked echoed through the house to the back of the house, where they were. Jackson turned and answered the door. A young she-wolf stood in front of him, her long black hair just touching her shoulders and her bangs just short of covering her, clouded blind, hazel eyes. Her eyes not quite focused on where they should. Jackson sighed, opening up the door more so she could come in.
"Ethan you have a guest." Jackson cheekly yelled.
Ethan looked up from a binder that he seemed to have magical produced. He about jumped out his skin when he saw her. "Oh hey Grace... How are you?" A blush had started to climb up his face.
"Don't get your fur in a knot. I'm not here to torture you today. I'm here for Jackson. That girl. How is she? Her aura is in pain, I can feel it from here."
"We'll Roslen says she is feeling better but now I'm thinking she just told me that to make me feel better." Jackson replied rubbing the back of his head.
"Hmmm....well I have something...interesting..." Grace said carefully choosing her words.
"What's that?"
"I had a vision...of the girl...she was dressed in a green gown, one that would be worn for a ceremony...a dark shadow hung in the background..." She paused.
"What?" Jackson pressed.
"Red eyes...they were following her. But she didn't seem to pay attention to it, instead she was-was doing something. I'm not sure what, the vision was starting to fade. But I had the sense that I know what the event is, I just can't put my finger on it.I'm sorry."
"No don't be, you gave us good information. Plus you always help with your visions...Now, I am hungry would any one like to join me in getting a bite at the café?"
Everyone nodded in agreement and left for the café. Jackson wasn't really hungry. He just wanted an excuse to change the subject.

Valen drifted through memories with her sister.
"Vallen!" cried alittle girl with flowing gloden hair and bright green eyes. She came to an abrupt stop in front of a young Vallen. "Guess what I have!"
"What, what do have Flower?" Vallen asked with a smile.
"This!" the little girl pulled out a frog from behind her "Kiss him sissy! Maybe he'll turn into a prince!!"
Vallen giggled,"Eewww....why don't you kiss it Flora?"
Flora's face lit up, she turned it around and.....ssmmmoooch! She gave it a kiss. Flora gagged. Making a cute face that was scrunched up in disgust. Vallen busted a gut laughing.Another more dark memory arose.
Vallen and Flora were at home in there small cottage. Flora was knitting in the rocking chair, the warm fire glowed softly against her skin. Vallen sat across from her in another old creaking rocking chair reading a book. The late early summer sun burning its last rays befote nightfall. Words of warning had started to spread in the village about a giant beast lurking at night, stealing away children and fair maidens. Vallen had been asked by some of the fellow bachlors if she needed protection at night. She would politely turn them down or, depending on her mood, she respond with "Who do I need protecting from? You or the beast?". Flora would scold Vallen by saying 'you need to get a man your at the age' and shake her head. Despite being the younger of the two, Flora was all up in Vallen's love life acting like a mother hen.
Something outside made a nosie, Vallen didn't believe too much in the rumors but enough to purse her lips. Flora was oblivious and continued to hum and kint. Vallen shook away the sudden feeling of impending doom. Going back to her book she got back into the world of two star crossed lovers. Awhile later she heard the nosie again but time at the back door. Flora heard it too. Getting up she slowly made her way to the door. The handle shook. Vallen got up and put a hand on Flora's shoulder, motioning her to move away. The door busted open. Red eyes bore into the house. Flora screamed, almost blood curdling.
The next thing Vallen knew was that a giant black wolf was licking his lips at the two of them and backing them into a corner. "My, my what do I have hear? Two young....beautiful girls for my taking...", it spoke - its voice coming out smoothly compared to its bulky muscle. Vallen pushed Flora farther behind her. The beast chuckled. The girls finally trapped in a corner. The beast moved in, sweeping to the side of Vallen getting a view of Flora. He slowly advanced.
Vallen struggled to find something to protect them. And like a becun of light, a chant to ward off foul creatures came to mind. Quickly she began to rattle off the timeless words. The beast paused, only pauseing before continuing. He looked as if he was smirking, enjoying seeing them quiver in fear. But isn't that why he was doing it?
Finally, he made his move. He leaped at Vallen pushing her to the side, red filled her vision. Flora screamed, a black haired man -not a beast- was holding her. He nuzzled his head in the crook of her neck, breathing in her scent. Vallen tackled him, he was not going to touch her. She clawed at him, doing anything to get rid of him. She yelled at Flora to run. Flora turned and ran. The beast, finally, having enough of Vallen's worthless attempts to rid him. He pushed her hard against the wall, his hand queezing her throat. His red eyes boring into hers comanding submission. Vallen was struggling to gain breaths. Vallen kicked out and hit anything she could, but blackness began to crawl its way into her vision and soon darkness engulfed her.Vallen blinked her eyes adjusting to the bright light streaming in through a gentlely waving curtain. The breeze washed over Vallen cooling her skin. Her clothes that she had been changed into, clung to her from her sweat. She sighed, Vallen looked around wondering where she was. The door handle rattled and Vallen whipped to attention as the door opened...Roslen walked in carrying a tray. "Oh your awake!", Roslen spoke with light. She smiled as she made her way to Vallen and began her check up. Vallen opened her mouth but was cut off before she had even begun. "Your in a private room the upstairs floor. And I'll send one of the nurses to tell Jackson of your wake.", Roslen said reading her mind, "How are you feeling? You were out for a day...". Vallen closed her eyes and spoke, "I'm fine, just had a bad dream." Roslen nodded, finishing up her work.
"Come with me, you need to get cleaned up and change clothes.", Roslen said helping Vallen get up. Together they made their way to a bath room. And with Roslen's help Vallen undressed and cleaned herself. Vallen hadn't had help with anything in a long time and was kinda enjoying the feeling of being taken of. After the washing she changed back into her, now clean, clothes. The weight of the red cloak back on her shoulders was comforting. Roslen then lead her back to the main floor to eat.
Roslen had walked off to some things, when the entrance doors opened to reveil two wounded being shuffled in. Vallen quickly looked around, but none of the nurses nor Roslen was to be found. Vallen took in the wounds and began to mentally rattle off treatments. She went to reach for one of the wounded when a gruff growl emitted from the man supporting him. "Who are you.", he threaten. It wasn't a question, it was a statement of your-invading-my-home. "I-i am a-a guest... I'll give you a better explanation if you please let me help him!", Vallen said.
Just then Roslen walked in, "Vallen go back to your room. Michel put Woosley on the cot..." . Her voice faded as Vallen slowly backed out of the room, knowing she was not needed andshe doesn't want trouble. She climbed the stairs to her room and sat in the window bay looking out at the village. People helping each other, children laughing and playing, and...Jackson in the middle of it all - guiding through the crowd with Ethan and another girl with dark hair.Hello!
