Her Name? (Part 2)

Ray opened his eyes only for sunshine to shine brightly into them, temporarily blinding him. His eyes adjusted to the brightness. He looked around and noticed he was lying on rather weird looking ground. 'How did I get here? The last thing I remember is that giant demon.' he thought to himself. He tried to get up only to realise that he was tied up using vines which were braided together to form a rope. 'Wait...D-Did the pursuers catch me?! I would rather die here become some random rich demons dinner! I have to keep my promise! I have to escape!'

Ray shook his head to calm down and think clearly. He realised that the ropes he was tied up using were not professionally made. He knew that premium qualities like him would not be handled so carelessly.

'Could it be a demon who lives here? No, They ones here not have such intelligence-' HIs thoughts were interrupted by a female voice coming from above him. "Oh? You awake!". That is when Ray realised he was not on the ground. He was on a tree!

'...How the hell did I get up here?! The trees here are huge?! Who's voice is that?!' Ray's mind was filled with questions. He looked up to see a figure of a girl jump down down a branch above him. She lands infront of him. You would normally think that jumping from a height would make much noise but no, her feet did not make even a small noise. ' A human...She is a human' Ray's eyes, well, eye widened.

"Good morning~" She said in a cherry tone, Which would make her seem friendly but if you looked closely you could see she was anything but friendly. Ray stared at her a half in shock and half in fear. You couldn't blame the boy for being afraid, after all it is human nature to be afraid of things you do not know of, especially when you are trying to survive in a world of demons.

" Oi, didn't your mommy teach you that staring is rude." She said sending him a glare which did send shivers down him but he would never accept that. "S-sorry" He said looking down. 'The meaner I act the better, I don't want him to be with me...I don't want to get attached to anybody again.' The girl thought to her self.

"Move over so I can untie you" She said squatting down next to him. He does what she requested and she unties him. "Ok." she stands up and sits infront of him. 'I should clear his doubts then I can take him to where his family is, I asked Mist to look for them so I wont have to search, but he is not back yet.'

Ray was on guard and flinched as she sat down before him. "If you have any questions shoot." she said looking at him. Ray took a movement to observe her. She wore a dress made of fur and animal skin which was messily stitched together. she had the eyes of a predator which seemed to observe any movement quickly. Her movements did not make any sound. you could tell that she was used to surviving in this world. Her identification number was 53194.

Ray: Um...My name is-

53194: Ray. Your name is Ray, am I right?

Ray was surprised, how did she know his name

Ray: H-how did you-

53194: This forest is my home, I know almost everything that happens here. Do you think this wolf would not investigate about a new heard of sheep who entered?

Ray: 'Wolf and sheep...She is trying to hint at the fact that she is not a good person and she is potential danger.'

Ray: What is your name?

53194: sigh I would rather keep us strangers. If you really want you can call me Five.

Ray: Fair enough, Five you don't look much older than us. Are you an escapee?

Five: Yea.

Ray: When did you escape? It looks like you have been here for a really long time.

Five:...I escaped when I was 9.

Ray: Now, you are?

Five: 14/15 (I thought it would be interesting to put a older Y/n, so if your Bday is bef jan 15 then your 15 and after then 14.)

Ray: 'She survived here for 5 or 6 years?!'

Five: *Smirk* Surprised? Hahaha

Ray:' Her laugh is different from Emma's, it's softer and more refreshing' (He is comparing you to Emma because Emma is the only other girl who he really knows who is similar to you.)

Ray: Um... Five, did you escape alone?

Five looked uncomfortable with that question.

Five: sigh Yes...

Ray was a bit shocked but could not get himself to say anything, after all, he himself thought it was better to leave behind everyone under the age of  8.

Five: not on purpose though...

Five: ' I don't want them to be too afraid of me, they might see me as a threat and try to kill me. It would troublesome as there so many of them and I don't want to get my hands dirty with blood of my own kind.'

Ray: ' " not on purpose"?... Did they get shipped?'

That is when a small squirrel glided down and landed on five's shoulder. "Ah...your back, found them?" She asked the squirrel as she let is climb on to her hand. ' A squirrel? There are human world animals here?...Maybe the Nature has not changed that much since 30 years...' Ray thought to himself, little did he know he was wrong.

The squirrel chirped some nonsense to her. "Nowhere to be found?" Five said slightly surprised. 'Does she understand what the squirrel is saying? How on earth?' Ray stared in cofusion as the squirrel continued to chirp. "pursuers?" She said looking serious.

" Sigh... Thanks Mist." she said to the squirrel as it climbed back on her shoulder. "Right...I owe a explanation right. Ok, this is Mist, he is kind of like my pet and helps me keep track of everything happening in the forest. He is a flying squirrel. Also, things are not looking too good for you. We can't your family. The pursuers are out, they don't have your family though but that means it is not safe to search for them. They should be hiding. Oh, and it is the annul visit time of the wondering demons." She briefly explained everything to Ray.

Ray clearly looked worried. 'Don't look so sad!! I am weak to sad faces!' Five internally screamed internally.' Well he can't go anywhere anymore...It will be ok if I taught them some skills to survive...Right?' She thought to herself as she pitied Ray.

"Oi...Stop with long face! it doesn't look nice. There still alive out there. Until we find them it looks like we are stuck together. So...How about I teach you?" She said smiling softly at him. "Teach me?" Ray asked as he looked up at her.

"Mmh, teach you tricks to survive!"

So I speed ran part two. I put the mistake thing up for nothing lol.

It is shorter than  my first chap but it is better than nothing I think. Plus I kinda wanted to give it this ending 

The squirrel on the top is Mist. I could not attach in the middle so it has to be at the top. I am sorry if your allergic to rodents, I know you cant be near squirrels.

I don't know when part 3 is coming, I might speed run it, I might not speed run it.
