Her Name? (Part 3)

'It would be helpful to learn from her. After all, she has been surviving for years in this forest.' Ray thought to himself and agreed to her offer.𝗚𝗿𝗿𝗿𝗿... "Huh?What was that noise?" Y/n said and looked around and saw ray face with a slight blush on it. Her face softened and turned into a cheeky smile. "Are you hungry?~" she asked in the same tone she used to say good morning to Ray. The blush of embarrassment on rays face turned slightly brighter as he said that he was indeed hungry.

Y/n walked casually to the edge of the tree and jumped off. "Hey?!" Ray shout as he ran to the edge of the tree from where she jumped off of. Only to find her standing on a branch with a gaint hole on the side. "Heh... you should be worried more about yourself than me emo boy! After all this forest is my home I know it better than u ever will." She said smilling with a wolfish smile. Ray was a bit annaoyed at being called "emo boy" but decided it would be better not to mess with her. He knew she was warning him. 【You are not safe here.Don't get comfortable.】

She brought a piece of meat, it cooked but unfavoured. Ray had to smell it to realise that. "Sigh..did you not season it?" Ray asked y/n he started at her in disbelieve, well who would want to eat unseasoned meat?"Sorry high and Mighty sir, seasoning is not readily avialable in the land of demons." She said while bowing like a maid with a dead look one her face. Ray sweatdropped a bit.

" Can you atleast get me my bag so I can take some seasoning from it?" Ray asked as he remembered he stole some food and seasoning and some cooking utensils from the house as he knew they would need to cook to survive."kay" she said and walked backwards a bit.'What is she doing?' Ray thought to himself.Shocking the soul out of Ray,Five took a running shot and jumped above Ray's head and kicked the tree that he was leaning on to give herself a boost to jump to the another branch that was even higher. Then she continued to jump branch to branch till she was no longer seen as she was hidden by the thick canopy that covered them.

Meanwhile Ray's brain was malfunctioning as it could not comprehend what just happened.'OK, DID SHE JUST FUCKING- omfg did she just jump like the tree like we are in a dang anime?!'

"Hopefully he could get an idea of how to get up on trees now. God, jumping once is much easier than that. But, judging from the fact that he is much weaker than me, he has to take this route though it is exhausting as hell to climb a full tree like this.God, I need to get rid of my habit of talking to myself, especially when there are people around." Five had developed the habit of talking to herself when she was alone. She hated being in a place that is completely silent. Silence was and is still a dreadful thing to her. It always made her heart feel like it was being crushed by something heavy. Because it brought back memories she no longer needed.

She quickly grabbed his bag and jumped straight back down.Ray had just finished processing what happened. She handed him the bag and Ray seasoned his food. (Like a normal person,only Mysta eats his food unseasoned but I don't think he can be called normal.)

Ray finished eating and both of them sat down to talk. No one talked first, the awkward silence lasted for a few minutes

Five:"Um...you know this is meant to be the part where you like ask questions..."

Ray:"Ah..right..um... did you jump up here?"

Five:"Yea, I did as far as I know demons cant climb,so trees are somewhat safe"

Ray:"Somewhat?"

Five:Demons are strong enough to push over these trees.Hosnestly, your stupid for bringing kids under 10 to this hell hole. I mean I understand your sentiment but, bringing them here reduces all your chances of survival.

Ray: What were we supposed to do? leave them to die?

Five: Well, there isn't really a choice I guess, either way they can only try their best for survival. But that too is not guaranteed as there is only one way I know of to escape this dreaded world and that's through the HQ (Headquarters), where all the material available in the house comes from.

Ray: Dreaded world? HQ is the only way out?

Five:Here I thought plantation 5 made the smartest kids. How did you even survive until now?

Ray:Huh?! I am the second smartest among us!

Five: Wow if your conditioning is that bad you can forget escaping! You won't even survive for more than a week!

Ray: 'looks like I have no choice but to learn from her, she is the one who has survived this place for years.I will need to leech as much knowledge as possible from her for everyone everyone's survival'

Ray: Well then teach me how to survive! You said you would, did not?!

Five: That, sigh yea I did but...

Ray:' But? Please don't take back the offer...'

Ray: I will do anything! Please teach us how to survive!

Five: I could... but what is in for me?

Ray:'shit... what do I do?'

Five:Heh, don't look so thwarted emo boy. I am not one who goes back on my word. But I can already tell you're gonna be a pain in the ass to teach.

Ray: 'This bitch was just playing with me?!'

Five: Anyway, about what I was saying earlier, The only way to escape this place is the HQ.

Ray: But how?

Five: Do I really have to spoon feed your dumbass for you to understand?!

Ray: It is not my fault your explaining skills are shit!

Five: AnD iT's NoT mY fAuLt If YoUr FaMiLy BeCoMeS dEmOn KiBbLe!Anyway I will explain it like I am explaining to a three year old, so remove the wax in your ears and listen!

Five: So basically this aint the human world-

Ray: But then how do we-

Five: Are you gonna shut your fucking mouth or do you want me to beat you up to the point where it is swollen shut?

Ray: S-sorry...'She is a lot scarier than emma...'

Five: Good, now back to what I was saying, This place ain't the human world because there are no monuments and well known landmark buildings here, even if the demons destroyed them there is no way that the animals here evolved this much. Sure there are a few human world animals such as mist here. They are normally very hard to spot, so there is no way they only moved here around 30 years ago,it is likely it has been more than a few decades since demons ruled this land. But we somehow have access to human world stuff received from the HQ, so there must be a way the HQ can go back and forth between the human world. So they only way to truly escape is through the HQ.

Ray: What you said does make sense...

Five: See emo boy you need to open your ears and listen first before interrupting. Take that as your first lesson.

Ray: But...If you knew this why did not attempt to escape yet?

The sudden question managed to shock five, so what will she say?
