Her name?(Part 6)

"And that was the centeral area of the forest!" Five exclaimed and started walking in the direction they came from.The sun was already fully set.It was frezzing cold.Five seemed fine,used to the weather after living there for so long. Her think fur coat that drapped down to her ankles just have been enough to keep her warm.Ray on the other hand was shivering, all he had was a thin cardigan.Normally ig would have been enough to keep him warm during the winter weather as they would only be allowed to play in the afternoons when it was still warm.

He tried to stop his shaking hands only for his efforts to be in vain. Five was alot more observant than he realised.She orginally thought he would get used to it after a while but the wind kept getting more and more chilly."...are you cold?" She asked Ray didnt know what kind of expression she was making,she wasnt facing him.Not taking any chances he denied her claim.

Ray did not know how much he reminded Five of herself.The way she shivered of so many nights alone,too afraid to sleep and so so very cold.She scolded herself,telling herself to stop thinking about her past.She didnt want to remember,she was no longer a kid.She could no longer a be a kid so reminiscing about thise times would only bring unfavourable results.

She kept walking speeding up her pace,unintentionally causing the trailing noirnet to struggle."H-hey! Hey Five,Your going too fast....Hah,hah..." Ray shouted falling behind.His shouts broke her out of her thoughts."Ah...Sorry.I,um,I got distracted." She truned back and replied,fumbling with her words,trying to come up with an decent excuse.

"No...its fine,dont apologise" Ray said wating for his pulse to lower down.A chill brezze rushed past them,making Ray shiver harder.Five would be lying if she said she was fine with it.She didn't like him being cold.It bothered but she didn't know why.A sigh of frustration left her lips."Take off your cardigan." She said with a firm voice."What?" Ray looked up at her curiously."Didn't hear me?I said take it off" she repeated but did not raise her voice.Ray complied removing his cardigan.The chilly air entered his loose shirt sending even mire shivers up his spine.He grit his teeth to stop it from rattling.

Five removed her coat and switly covered the smaller boy.She took the cardigan from his hands and covered herself.The coat that fit Five prefectly now dragged on the forest floor and the perfectly tailored cardigan didn't fit properly.He buried his nose in the thick fur.It smelt of wet grass,sweet natural flowers and most prominently of her.He didn't hate it.

But he was surprised,why did she do that?Why would she keep him warm especially in the coat of her own heat? Deep down he wanted to trust her.He wanted to think that she was a good person. They only escaped because Emma believed they would even though he had given up all hope.Maybe believing that she was a good person,a ally would make her one?

But why? Why did he care so much aboit a person he just met? If it was for her skills he surely wouldnt have been this close.Is it only curiosity or is there more?

They days passed Ray started trusting Five more and more.There was no clue on his family,he was worried but...was it selfish of him to hope that it takes longer to find them? Was it selfish of him to want to know her more?It was he knew, but the longer he stayed the more found out.Like the saying the more u give greed the larger it becomes,thats what it was like.

She was chaotic,didn't know how to take care of herself.Didnt bother cooking properly though she could but she was also responsible,took care of the nature surrounding us,her food was delicious despite her recipes being completely random, jumbled up, she jsut knew hiw to make it taste good.Her room was a mess but her equipment where kept so neatly.She couldn't use the bow cause she lacked the precision but the tree hollow they slept and kept all their stuff in was so meticulously planned and carved.She came up with brilliant ideas,maybe even better than himself.Her knowledge was endless,not even about the forest but almost everything.She qas open to listening and learning more.She even made the quiet Ray who doesn't talk much talk for hours on end.She acted dumb but was smart.She knew how to lay down her opinions clearly and renforced her points.She could be so cruel when she needed to but was also so gentle and kind to animals.She was almost like a living contradiction.

At nights Ray would realise that his cheeks were sore from talking or perhaps the lack of practice talking.She was frightening at first but now he would laugh if someone called her scary.She was no where near scary.She was not a angel, surely not,She was devil even he wouldnt deny that but isn't it evil that is always the most attractive? She wasn't innocent but she was entertaining.She was a drug and he felt like he was becoming the addict.This wasnt like him what so ever.He would usually not have bothered so much even over curiosity.So why? Well he knew the answer.

Because she reminded him of himself.They were so similar yet so different.Both of them qhere children,children who didnt get to experience childhood.Children whos dreams where crushed even before they were made.Children who had to grow up quickly to survive.Children who were adults.Perhaps he wanted to know how she ended up like that.How she ended up like him.But even so he had his family to back him up now,but her she was all alone.He was like the moon,moon which was smaller in comparison,the moon which had the stars to help him shine and shine with him.But her, she was the sun, warm but also scorching hot, the strongest,the biggest but also the loneliest.But could the sun and moon really stay together forever? Wouldn't that make imbalance?Now was the eclipse, short but unforgettable.Only that the moon didnt want to let go,the moon didnt want the earth to separate them.Though it loved the earth.

Lol its funny how much one comment can motivate me.But I feel I am making Ray a nit OOC.Tbh its kinda a au/headcannon Ray.

Anyway Five and Ray are becoming friends.It mainly Rays thoughts here make next cahp will be about Fives rhoughts.Its a bit hard for me to wrire Five even though she is a literal self insert because well I guess I know myself the least.Also if anyone wants to know my/Five mtbi its entp I made it pretty obivious at the description of charecter part.Ray's mtbi is intp so yea they are not similiar in some aspects but are also so very different.Five will show her more goody side once she gest more comfortable with Ray.

I also tried to make them deliberately have the same point about eachother.
