R.I.P. Norm Macdonald. I literally just noticed he was Rusty in the Middle.

After dinner Frankie and Rusty sat on the leather couch Rhianne obtained from her grandparents. The happy couple paced back and forth upstairs in Rhianne's room, Mike hadn't really been in the blonde cheerleader's room a lot. Mostly they redirected to his room after drinking somewhere in his car.
"SO DID YOU TWO DO STUFF WHILE WE WERE IN THERE?!" Mike shouted as he stood at her bedroom door, the two downstairs could hear him practically scream at her all flustered his brother could steal her away.

But how? Orville was so stupid!

"No!!! He he he..." Rhianne played with her pillow nervously wondering if he believed anything she would say.
"He what!" Mike barked at her as he bent over her menacingly to glare into her baby blue eyes. He wasn't ready to be hurt by love yet, he was too fragile since his mother passed away.

"I-heeee..." Rhianne was breathing through her words like a bad orchestra, she couldn't stand being yelled at or the prominent anger in Mike's features she just wanted to kiss away.

"What did he do??? tell me Rhiannon!" Mike asked suddenly in a concerned voice as he put a hand on her shoulder. His anger turned into determination, Rhianne wiped her tears as she put his hand on her cheek.

"He said he did things to me," She admitted making Mike reward her with a soft kiss she blushed from randomly.
"I'm gonna kill him!" Mike declared starting off in a sprint out of Rhianne's grey room.

"NO!" The blonde said sternly, following his actions yet tiptoed down the stairs since she hated stairs. Mike was already down the stairs and in the living room holding the baseball bat he knew Rhianne and Sapphire kept in case of emergencies and intruders. He considered this one of those instances.

"Orville!"
"Stop callin me Orville!" Rusty demanded sourly, his grip on his beer intensifying unhappy he was being accused by his brother in front of this hot girl he was sitting beside.
Mike stood beside the coffee table - the bat pointed in his brother's direction aggressively.

"Leave now, we can talk later but stay away from Rhiannon!" the football player requested, glaring at Rusty who stayed on the couch defiantly. Rhianne walked over to Mike and swiped the baseball bat from his hands, she snapped her fingers at Rusty, moving her arm to gesture towards the front door.

"I'm going... hope to see you again, Riri," Rusty waved to her and she guided him out the door with her baseball bat. She slammed the door the second he stepped out. Rusty mimicked Mike all the way home; he walked home because he couldn't afford his own car yet.
He often caught rides in the Impala with his brother, he hoped he was still on good terms with that little rascal.

Frankie left two hours later, she was unnoticed by the fairly new couple but at the last second Mike exited the frontdoor to say goodbye to her. "Hey sorry about us.... we are usually busy since we're juniors and we don't get a lot of time..." The brunette leaned against the door despite the snow he didn't give signs that he was possibly cold. Inside Rhianne was cleaning up from dinner, drinking the last of the wine and sang along to the boombox she kept on a shelf Mike made for her for spices.

"Its okay, I get it. See ya in the halls and whenever we study. Bye!!!" Frankie waved to him and he just hugged her.
The auburn haired girl blushed into his chest, turned to leave and walked casually down the street for she didn't have a car either; she usually chilled in the Jeep's pasenger seat with Rhianne, she was glad to have made her friend before college. Although the blonde was a bit more friendlier to her then, she wondered if Mike effected her personality and guessed it was tough to manage having a boyfriend and study everyday.

Rhianne scrubbed one of the last pots clean, she felt her boyfriend stand next to her side as he tapped the counter in an out of tune rhythm. "That wasn't fair!" she yelled all the sudden and nearly threw up from the alcohol she consumed when Frankie and him talked beyond the door. Mike put a hand on the blonde's back that was covered with a silver shirt which had a fashionable hole in the back. Rhianne calmed down at the touch of his fingers.

"What? That I was protecting you from my dumb younger brother? I swear it'll be the dumbest thing you do if you like him,"
"I don't... I swear I don't," Rhianne said sadly, sniffling because she thought he was sort of right but why would it be the worst?

"Are you calling me dumb?"
"No the idea of you and Rusty is dumb," Mike explained as Rhianne twisted the faucet to discontinue use of H20, she turned to face him, a bitter pout rested on her red lips.

"I might be considering asking you to move in... don't get on my bad side, Heck," Rhianne warned him and put her arms around his waist, bringing the gentle giant towards her wearily. She eyed his face and reached up to smack his cheek a little.

"You're drunk, Ri. Let me carry you upstairs," Mike offered. The blonde didn't seek out a chance to complain now being in the muscular arms of her brunette boyfriend, she stared to the side at the floor and giggled.
"Aaah!" she screamed having the sudden fear of heights.

"Don't look down," Mike suggested, his shoulders rising up and down to portray a shrug, he carried the small figure over to the stairs - giving Rhianne a hit of adrenaline; wanting to impress him by acting braver than she was.

"So how tall are you???" the ex - high school cheerleader quizzed with the curiosity illuminating her blue eyes.

"Tall enough," Mike answered distractedly, trying to monitor his agility and pace up the stairs, he didn't need them going to the hospital right before Christmas.

So the two got ready for a slumber party and sat on the bed together side by side. "Its nice not having to sneak around..." Rhianne giggled as she checked her college study notes.

"Put that away... its the weekend!" Mike said cheerfully, giving the blonde he wanted to marry already a sweet kiss.

"Okay Heck," Rhianne laughed again and hugged him happily, realizing he was one of the best boyfriends she ever landed. She knew he was right about the Rusty thing and would like to set up him and Frankie instead. Not that she even considered liking Rusty until Mike had to say something.
