Day 2

Demi POV

We spend all night at the hospital because Selena hasn't woken up yet. Steve and Amber left at 1 along with everyone else, but they said there be here early in the morning. I stayed with Joe all night in the waiting room. I rested my head on his shoulder and I fell asleep quick, but it didn't last long since the chairs where uncomfortable, i keep shifting and moving around. I got frustrated at one point and wanted to lay on the floor but i didn't when i saw Joe peacefully sleeping. As i watched him sleep. I never realize how much i have missed him, and how much i want us to be official. But then reality hit me and realize i leave the day after tomorrow. Joe has two jobs here plus Selena i couldn't ask him to move for me plus i wanna take things slow since it's been 3 years since we broke up.

I decidee to go get, Joe, Juan and myself breakfast since it was a little past 8. I kissed Joe lightly on the cheek and headed to the main floor. I stopped to use the bathroom and i realized Steve and Amber took my car. So i just walked since it was only 2 blocks away.

When i returned to the hospital and went up to the floor Selena was at. Joe was still asleep. I went to Selena room and she was still asleep but Juan wss up. I knocked lightly on the door and he picked his head up from looking down at Selena.

"I bought you breakfast" I said handing him a bag with his food in it.

"Thanks Demi, but im not hungry" He said

"Please Juan, for Selena and your unborn baby you well at least eat half of the food please" I said

"Ok"He said

"So any news on her" I asked

"No the doctor surprise she hasn't woken up yet. There hoping sometime this morning or they mite wake her them self" He said

"The baby" I asked

"They check it this morning, it has a heartbeat but we haven't checked anything else i wanted to wait for Selena to wake up first"

"Do you know how long she is" I asked

"No, i wanna find out when Selena awake" He said

"When she does wake up can you, let Joe and i know well be in the waiting room" I asked

"Of course,.... and thank you Demi for being there for Joe,...... Me and Selena" He said

"Don't worry about it, were still friends right" I asked

"Of course" He said and i left the room and went back to the waiting room Where Joe was just waking up.

"Hello handsome, sleep well" I asked sitting next to him

"I did, but i know you didn't" He said

"Im fine, i bought us some food. I already gave Juan his" I said

"Selena awake yet" He asked

"No, but the doctors are expecting her to wake up soon and if not There gonna wake her up them self. They heard the baby heartbeat but that's it. Juan waiting for Selena to wake up before they find anything else out" I said

"Well that's good the baby alright" Joe said

"It is, maybe once were done eating we can go in the room and comfort Juan since he's alone" I said

"Okay" Joe said

And that's what we did. After we ate we went into Selena room to keep Juan company and he ended up eating all of his breakfast for the looks of it. It was 10:30 and Selena still has woken up. Once the time hits 1:00 the nurse are gonna attempt to wake her up. Steve and Amber where the first to show up then soon everyone started coming shortly after. I was drifting in and out of sleep as we sat in Selena room waiting.

"Why don't you go home, ill be fine. You need your sleep" Joe said in my ear while Amber and Steve were talking to everyone else.

"Im fine, plus she's gonna wake up soon" I said resting my head on his shoulder.

"Are you sure, you didn't sleep well last night" He said

"Im fine, i promise" I said and soon feel alseep on Joe shoulder.

I woke up a few hours later, but this time on Joe lap in the waiting room. I buried my head deeper into his neck to block the light from my face.

"You awake" He askee

"Ya" I said still tired and my eye's closed.

"Selena also woke up, there doing a sonogram right now on her." Joe said sounding morr awake then earlier.

"Im tired" I said and looking at his watched an noticed it was only 12. I sleep for an hour and a half.

"I'll take you home once i know for sure Selena okay, Steve and Amber left to go to your house and wait for you to return" Joe said

"Okay" I said resting my head back on his shoulder.

"A few minutes later Juan comes out to tell us Selena wanted us in the room. We all went into the room and they told us the new on the baby and Selena. Selena was 2 months along in her pregnancy and her due date some time in mid April and Selena well be released in the morning. Once everyone left Selena thanked me for coming and making sure Joe and Juan ate while she was asleep. We talked for a bit more till the doctor had to do a few test to make sure her and the baby are okay. Joe and i said bye to her and Juan and headed to my house.

"Stay the night with me" I said looking at him

"What about your parents, Steve and Amber" He said

"Steve and Amber well be fine" I said

"Your parents" He said

"Why don't you go home freshen up and come over and well be Romeo and Juliet and ill sneak you in though my window. Please Joe it's my last night in LA" I said

"Okay" He said and stoped outside my house

"I'll see you in a few hours" I said kissing his lips and going inside. Bailey was outside with Steve and Amber in the pool while my parents were cooking on the grill.

"Hey, sweetie go change and come join your family" My dad said kissing my head

"Okay, ill be right back" I said and headed up to my room and throw on a full size swimsuit and returned to the back yard. To spend time with my family till i go back to Irvine tomorrow afternoon.
