Vanessa's POV:
Today is the day I'm being discharged from the hospital. Today is also the day I get to take my beautiful babies home.
I'm just waiting for Ms. Johnson to come back. She went to go sign some papers that needed to be signed, but Ms. Johnson wanted to be the 'caretaker' for me while I stayed in hospital
"Vanessa, look Kyle just opened his eyes" Rosa said with excitement
"Rosa, why don't you let my baby boy sleep," I said.
Ignoring me. She continued
"OMG, he has blue with a mixture of gray eyes" she said while caressing his little face
I shook my head at her
I looked at my little girl sleeping peacefully. When I look at my babies they remind me of their father. The twins look a lot like their father and that's what I dread the most. How can I forget him now?
My baby's full names are Kylie and Kyle Lockwood Collen. I wanted to give them their fathers name too. After all, he did gave me the greatest gift a mother could ever ask for. My babies.
"Alright, we can leave now" Ms. Johnson said as she came in the room
I nodded my head
I picked up kylie and walked to where Ms. Johnson was. Rosa trailed behind us while holding Kyle in her hand.
It took us 15 minutes to reach our apartment.
Once I opened the door I was greeted by Mrs and Mr. Burkley. They were so happy to see me. I looked around and also saw Mia and Conner holding gift bags in their hands. Once they laid their eyes on the babies. They were all eager to hold them. Mrs. Burkley got to hold Kylie and Mia got to hold Kyle.
"Oh my goddess, their absolutely adorable" Mrs. Burkley said
"You should see them when they open their little eyes" Rosa said while coming out of the kitchen
I did not notice her enter the kitchen
"What are their names" Mr. Burkley said
"Let me introduce you to Kyle Lockwood Collen and Kylie Lockwood Collen" I said with a smile on my face
"I wouldn't have gave them that middle name, If I were you" Rosa said
"Well, I love it" Mrs. Burkley said
I turned to see Mia and Kyle. She seems distracted.
"Mia are you alright" I walked up to her
" Huh, Yeah. Just that I haven't held a baby in a long time" she said
I could feel that she's hiding something, but it wasn't my business to get in
While she was looking at Kyle he let about a sneeze which she found it cute
"How are you feeling Vanessa now that your a mom" Conner said while taking Kyle from Mia's arms
"I feel happy that I finally got to bring my bundles of joy to their new home" I said with a smile
I can't wait to see where this whole motherhood will take me.
Late afternoon
It was getting late. Everyone had just left. Rosa went to get some supplies at the store. I was busy putting my sleeping babies in their beds when I heard a knock at the door. As I placed them in there beds and tucked them in I headed to the door to see who it was
Once I was there I opened the door to see who it was. I regretted the moment I opened the door because there stood Lucas staring at me.
What is he doing here?
"We need to talk" he said in a serious tone
Why do I have this feeling that this conversation won't end well!!!
