Chapter 12~ News ✔️

VANESSA'S POV:

"OH MY GOD!!! Have you seen the news" Rosa said storming inside our living room

"What news" I said. I was in the middle of feeding Kyle when she stormed in

"I'd hate for you to find out, but sooner or later you will. It's about Lucas and his... bitchy assistant" she said whispering the last part in full disgust

"His what?" I said looking up at her

She ran to where the remote control was and turned on the tv. As she was flipping through some channels Lucas' picture came up. Not just any picture. It's was Lucas going down on one knee holding out what seemed like an engagement ring to, Ella

"Ladies and gentlemen as you can see Mr. Lockwood is officially off the market.

Who could this lady be, you may ask. Our information states that her name is Ella Miller. A 25- year-old women. She had been working for Mr. Lockwood as his personal assistant for quite some time, now" the news reporter says

"Apparently, they have been together for a short period of time and that Mr. Lockwood states that 'she has captured my heart in ways no other woman has ever done. Life without her will be meaningless and empty to me'. " She stated

"If I should say I find that hard to believe if I say so myself..."the reporter said, rolling her eyes

"It's stated that their wedding has been scheduled for New Years. Apparently the couple wants to start off the year as newly weds and are both anxious to start a family very soon" the reporter said

"Well, we can all wish them the best of luck. If that short period of time she had managed to capture his heart well we can all hope that he will finally end his womanizing day because marriage is a lifetime commitment" the reporter states, before changing to a different topic

Kids? Marriage? How can this be happening???

He already has two beautiful kids with me. Why would he want to have more? Especially with her???

"When did he propose to her?" I asked, brokenly

"Last night. The bitch was so anxious that she wanted to tell the world that they're engaged. I swear if I ever get my hands on her I will rip all her fucken extensions with my bare hands" Rosa stated angrily

"And I have a feeling that It will be pleasant for the whole world to see how I beats the crap out of her and her pathetic Fiancé won't do shit about it" she says

My heart broke knowing that he officially doesn't want to do anything with me and my kids. How can a man be so cruel towards his little family? The man that I learned to love. The one that I did everything with. He was the man that I trusted. But apparently, he just used me

I looked at my son who finally fell asleep in my arms. How would I tell both of my angels that their father doesn't want to do anything with them? How can I tell them that he left us for someone else. I wouldn't bare breaking their little hearts.

" Vanessa" Rosa said, coming towards me " You're crying? I'm sorry... I shouldn't have showed you that... I'm sorry" she said

"No. It's alright" I wiped away the tears that had fallen down my cheek " It's just that...what am I going to do now? What will happen with my babies? What will I tell them when they start asking for their father" I said breaking down

It hurts knowing that you have two little people depending on you. But I can't help but feel that I betrayed them. It wasn't that long that they came into my life. All they want is to have a mom and dad so they can depend on, but no. I can't even offer them that

"What are you planning to do now?" Rosa said, while caressing Kyle's little head

"I just can't deal with him anymore. After moving I thought I wouldn't have to see him anymore but clearly it backed fired. I think it's best for me and my babies to move somewhere where we can't see him anymore and especially now that he's getting 'married' to that witch." I said

"What" she went from mad to shock in matter of seconds. I would hate to leave my friend that was with me through thick and thin

"Your planning and leaving me" she spoke in a sad tone

"I have to. I have no other choice" I said getting all teary

"Please don't leave me. Your all I have" she said, containing herself from crying

"If I stay here then I'm at risk that one day Lucas might take away my kids from me and knowing him he will make Ella their mother. I wouldn't be able to tolerate that" I said, wiping away my tears that had fallen down my cheek

"We're going to get revenge on that mother fucker for ever hurting you" she said while pulling me and Kyle in for a hug

"And that's a promise"

"Where are you planning on living?" She said, while laying down on my bed

"I was thinking of moving to California" I said

"Why"

"It's where I grew up with my grandmother. It's one of my favorite places to be. I would want my kids to grew up where I did. I may have not been born there but at least I got the chance to explore the beaches, resorts and other places with my grandmother. And it's the same places that Mrs. Johnson and her husband spent when they were celebrating their honeymoon" I said, smiling at the last part

I want Mrs. Johnson to get the chance to relive her favorite memories when she was with her husband. I've seen the pictures of them around her apartment all happy and madly in love with each other. She's been dying to go for quite some time, but her son was to embarrass for her leaving her own house, guys can be bastards now a days

"Thats so thoughtful of you. Always thinking of others then yourself. When are you planning to move?" she asked in a low tone

"In a month or two. I have to get everything ready for the kids and Mrs. Johnson"

"Well, I think we still have time before you leave. Let's have a girl's night in. I can order takeout and you can choose whatever movie you want. That way you can be close to my niece and nephew"

"Alright"

I so sorry for the long wait. I'm currently in my last year of school and it's impossible for me to have time. But I promise to continue publishing chapter along the way.
