Chapter 8 : Act Or Sadness

Violet's pov

The place I am in it looks almost grey from the atmosphere It fells sickening of course it is I can see a lot of tomb stones

I walked around looking at the names on tomb stones I read a name which caught my attention Adam linkwood that is mark's father now I know why I felt familiar this is the linkwood grave yard I used to come hear to wish the dead a good afterlife but why am I here but I wonder did mark put my deceased body in here with these people I continued walking until I heard a faint cry in the distant I my direction of walking to it's direction

I arrived after a bit of walking but the sound doesn't seem to vanish or calm down and there was the sound source at the very corner of the grave yard

I can see a figure sitting down with her head buried in her knees she seemed to look at a certain tomb stone

who is she she seems familiar she is wearing a maid outfit so she is a maid I looked at the tomb stone to see whose is it

Oh how I which I didn't look

The tomb stone wrote here lies the body of the beloved violet linkwood

I froze so this is after I died but who is this I have to remember them I tried calling out "hey" but nothing came out

I stood their staring at her waiting for her to raise her head

After what seemed like hours She finally raised her head

I can finally see her face she had blue pale eyes and brown hair tied in a bun a small red nose and had black bags under her eyes indicating she hadn't slept for somedays

Then it hit me their is only one person I used to know had these characteristics and it is Daphne Wilburn my loyal maid whom helped me during my pregnancy

I took care of her like a younger sister she was so nice and would ask me to sing her

"miss miss can you sing me the song from that time" she said with innocent written all over her face

"you have been asking me to sing you a lot lately" I said giggling and holding my swollen tummy because I was in my seventh month

"because I love your voice it sounds angelic" said the maid happily with her hand above her head

One thing about Daphne she knew nothing about etiquette

I giggled before starting to sing

End of flashback

After that A lot of memories between me and the said maid crossed my mind oh how kind was she to me I hope I can find her and take care of her in this life too

I feel bad for her but at the same time I was happy that someone came to visit my grave that I wasn't forgotten I bent down on my knees and hugged her even though she can't see me or feel me hugging her however I felt like her breath hitched I looked up at her only to see a horrified look on her face

I followed her eye direction and looked behind me to see  Massie and Mark both of them together Mark holding a new born baby daphine stood up hurriedly bowed and left

I can see the evil smirk on Massie face while Mark held his cold face up as always he bent to my grave his cold face turned to a smirk I was still sitting on the ground I could the child clearly now it had both the features of Massie and Mark

Mark opened his mouth to speak "see I told you it would be better if you were gone" he said with the same devilish smirk plastered on his face
Oh how I wish I can hit him right now

Then came another voice from behind him " mark when will you become a sane person and stop talking to the grave  stone of the people you supposedly murdered" said the man mark's face turned pale coh by the way your under arrest for murdering her " said the man again with a smirk

Mark turned to him and shouted
" I didn't kill her she died because of assassination atempet I didn't do anything "

" come on mark all the evidence are on you, you planned this so you could get rid of the restraint we put on you " said the man "we asked you to keep her hidden from the emperor because it will harm us but she is still a treasure to us her powers were uncompareable  but you went on and killed her " said the man again with displeasure and anger on his face 

What the hell is going on what do I have to do with the emperor I have an uncompareable magic what are they saying but now that I looked carefully that person Is wearing a knights outfit

Mark was gonna talk again but I suddenly woke up because Alice was shaking me to wake up I woke my face sweating my heart beating fast "oh dear you finally woke up I almost had a heart attack" said Alice relieved that I woke up " you were screaming in your sleep dear"  she said again

'Anyone would scream if they heard what I heard I need to know what do I have to do with emperor and his lots of children he is known for his a lot of kids and his harem first I have to sort out every thing I heard ' I thought
