Detectives Bishop and McBride are staring up at a tree.

McBride, almost unrecognizable from the man we saw in the articles earlier, now out of shape, takes a giant puff of his cigarette, exhales, then throws it to the ground and steps on it. "Jesus Christ," he says, as he takes in the image of a naked girl with red hair hanging from a tree branch. She is badly beaten and her eye sockets are empty.

Bishop focuses on the girl's face and sees the words 'LOOK INTO MY EYES', violently carved onto her forehead with a sharp object. Bishop throws up at the sight.

"Luck definitely isn't on your side rookie, your first case since making detective and you already have two dead bodies on your hands," says McBride, as he removes a flask from his jacket and takes a sip.

"Jesus McBride, it's the middle of the day."

"I never understood why people say that. What does the time of day have to do with drinking? Grow the fuck up Bishop."

Bishop wipes chunks of vomit from his mouth and recomposes himself. He focuses on the dead body swinging from the branch. "This one's in even worse shape than the last."

Bishop stares at McBride.

"Come on, this body turns up exactly two weeks after the first, this has to be him," he continues, much to McBride's anger.

"Shut your God damn mouth!" yells McBride.

"I really think we should get Dr. Fitzgerald's help; I can go see him again, maybe if you come with me this time..."

"Go see him again? Is that where you were? You went to see that fucking coward behind my back?" asks a frustrated McBride.

"He helped you and your previous partner on the Oculus case before, I just figured..."

"A rookie like you doesn't get paid to 'figure' anything, you get paid to shut your Goddamn rookie mouth, and do what I Goddamn say."

"You know I'm getting real tired of this rookie shit McBride, I'm a Detective just like you."

"Fitz ran Bishop. He ran, when he found out what happened to the Frost family, that son of a bitch ran, he didn't even attend the fucking funeral," says McBride, with a hint of sorrow in his voice.

The argument is interrupted by the ringing of Bishops' phone.

Bishop answers as McBride looks around and begins to yell at the uniformed officers. "Can one of you Goddamn Unis take this fucking body down and get it to the coroner?"

Bishop covers his ear as he tries to block out McBride's berating of the uniformed officers in the background.

"Hey babe," says Bishop in the gentlest of tones.
