Mandy sits uncomfortably on a metal bucket. The sound of urine hitting the inside of the bucket is almost drowned out by her uncontrollable weeping.
Win is sitting, bracing on the wall with her head in her hands.
Jessica, in quite a bit of pain, sits up slowly and looks at Mandy.
"I get violated and slapped around six ways from Sunday and you're the one in tears," she says with a smile on her face.
"Don't worry Mandy, we're all getting out of here," says Joanie.
"Yea, we just have to do what he says," adds Valerie, much to Jessica's amusement.
Mandy gets off the bucket and sits on the floor.
"You didn't see what happened to Melissa, the girl that was here before the rest of you graced me with your presence," Jessica responds in a more serious tone. "And from what she told me, it wasn't that much different for the girl before her either," she adds.
Win raises her head. "What do you mean?" she asks.
"They did everything he asked. They even told him they loved him when he was fucking raping them, and The Oculus still killed them!" Jessica exclaims.
Mandy begins to cry once more.
'There's no getting out of here, Mandy, no matter how much you cry. We're all already dead," says Jessica.
"How long have you been here?" asks Win.
"Since August 22nd, and I'm pretty certain it couldn't have been more than two days after that the fucker killed Melissa. So I reckon I have one week left or less before I'm next."
"Wait a minute, there were two girls here before you?" asks Valerie.
"Did I fucking stutter?" Jessica responds.
"All the stories and news reports say that The Oculus only ever kills five women," says Valerie.
Win looks on in interest.
"What's your point Valerie?" asks a confused Joanie.
"There's five of us here right now dummy, and according to Jessica, he already killed two," Valerie explains.
Jessica laughs out hysterically, spitting up blood in the process.
"Stop laughing!" Mandy yells. "You might have given up, but the rest of us aren't about to," she continues.
Jessica continues to laugh and lays back on the floor, placing one leg on her knee, seeming completely relaxed. "Anyway green eyes, ready to tell us about that special watch you lost your shit over?" she asks.
The other girls quickly abandon the previous conversation and turn their attention to Win.
Win stares cautiously at the girls around the room.
"It's ok party girl, you can tell us," says a concerned Mandy.
"I've just about had enough of the nick names, just call me Win,"
"Nope, I think I'll stick with green eyes," says Jessica, laughing.
Win is unimpressed.
"Don't mind her Win, she's just trying to make the most of this shitty situation," says Mandy.
Win scoffs and lowers her head.
The other girls look around at each other.
"I get constant memory flashes of some fucked up shit that happened to me during my childhood," says Win with her head still down. "Whenever that happens, its almost as if I'm no longer in my own body. My heart rate accelerates and I lose track of time. Sometimes minutes, sometimes hours," she continues.
