CH3: Jealousy #2

Heyo, Author here. I have returned with a late update. Hope you enjoy this chapter. It's a bit longer than the others. There is gonna be another rival and a few new roles for some characters. 

Matthew POV 

I realized what I bumped into, it was Anabelle. I simply scoffed and went back to the bathroom to try and calm myself. I then began to make my way through the crowd. I made very little effort to socialize with anyone who attempted to. My main focus was on getting to the bathroom to clear my head.

I entered the bathroom and quickly made my way to the sink where I washed my face. My dark orbs moved up slightly to find my reflection staring right back at me. It took me a bit to realize that my cheeks had become a dark shade of red as my thoughts about Kajsa continued to circle my mind. The door had slightly opened forcing my sight to see who had entered. My sight landed on Matteo who seemed to be confused, but his expression quickly changed to a slightly irritated one when he noticed my red face. 

Matteo was the only person who I told of my crush on Kajsa. He hadn't told anyone thankfully and wouldn't tease me about it either. I was slightly thankful for it. Matteo opened up his mouth and bluntly stated, "I just needed the bathroom."

I watched as he made his way into a stall and I never heard him say anything after. I must have been too flustered as I saw a small blush recolor his face. My thoughts immediately returned to the fact I promised Robbie I'd be back soon. I turned to the door when I heard the bell ring, ending break. Had I really spent that long in the bathroom to calm myself down? I looked at my reflection once more to check my face and cheeks.  My cheeks were still a light shade of pink and were covered by small beads of water dripping down my face. I needed to think of an excuse as to why my face was wet and why my cheeks were pinkish.

I quickly came up with an excuse and made my way over to class with a small extra plan to impress a certain someone.

~Back in class~

Kajsa POV

My discussion with Mr Batman had ended just as the bell had rang. He then told me to let everyone in as they were all still outside lined up. I quickly made my way over to the door and I opened the door to let everyone in. The line of people moved inside at their usual speed. Tiana and Miche' walked in and I followed seeing as we sat close by each other. We all took our seats and began chatting. They gave me a recap as to what I missed while I was with Mr Batman.

We hadn't spoken for long when everyone had entered the class. I noticed that Matthew and Matteo had not gotten back. Not that I really cared, but it was odd seeing as they are usually one of the first people inside. My sight kept shifting from my friends to the door and the door to my friends as I was getting a bit worried. 

But, why did I care so much?...

"Kajsa! Stop thinking about your boyfriend and actually listen!" Miche' smacked me with her ruler and whisper shouted to avoid being heard by everyone in the class, but had slightly failed as a few heads turned our way in interest. In order to save myself from embarrassment once more I immediately whispered, "I was paying attention and was NOT thinking about my non-existent boyfriend, MICHE'!"

"Mhm sure, then what did we say Kajsa?" Tiana questioned. I paused before I gave my answer. 

"You said that Sophie, Zakiyyah and Mila had accidently pushed Zack over?" I awkwardly smiled at my friends who seemed completely unimpressed with my answer. I simply sighed and turned around to face toward the front of my desk seeing as they were going to tease me about Matthew.

Speak of the devil and he will appear. Matthew entered the class room and the scene before me was surprising.

His face a light shade of pink,  beads of water dripping down his face. My face heated up at just the sight of it. My teacher wasn't having it as he almost immediately said something about it.

"Matthew, can you explain why your face is that wet?" Mr Batman glared. Some students in the class whipped their heads around to face him and began whispering to clarify what they heard. Some even chuckled at the sentence. However, my gaze was fixated on Matthew.

"Sir, I was playing hand tennis and I got very hot, so I wet my face to try to cool myself down." Matthew lightly chuckled with his friends slowly joining. 

Hearing this excuse, Mr Batman had sighed and asked, " Please wipe your face afterwards next time. Also, where is Matteo?"

"He said I should leave him, but he's in the bathroom." Matthew explained. Mr Batman seemed to have enough of him and returned to his work. Matthew then proceeded to take his seat next me and when I tell you I actually felt my soul leave my body. It honestly did! My face became an actual STOVE. I did hear Mr Batman send Josh to drag Matteo out of the bathroom. Honestly, I wasn't paying attention. I was so focused on the gorgeous scene laid right next to me. 

I must have been staring for a while, as Matthew turned his head with a rather confused expression on his face. I quickly turned my head to the book which was openly laid on my desk, my face heating up even further. Matthew slowly placed his focus back to his own textbook, but out of the corner of my eye, I noticed him give himself some sort of victory smirk, which faded almost as soon it appeared. 

As if he didn't do enough, I heard a snicker form behind me, making me turn around. I saw Tiana and Miche' laughing about something with one another, but quickly stopped when they noticed my gaze was placed on them. I glared at them and turned back to my book. 

Heyo, so sorry this one took so long. In this chapter, we added a few new things to the story to make it more interesting to read. Again, this isn't fully fiction. Meaning most events here are based off of real events. I made it a bit longer and got over to 1000 words. Hope you enjoyed this one and if you'll excuse me, I'll edit everything to make it better. Feel free to keep rereading until I make a new chapter. I probably won't be posting as I will be busy for the majority of the day. Anyways, have a decent day.
