chapter 2

Yena coughed so hard. She slowly open her eyes and the water out from her mouth. Yena cough again.

She wake up from her lay and look around her. She saw herself was so wet and she stroke her hair gently.

"W-Where am I?" she asked herself and wipe her face.

"Y-Yes.. I tried to kill myself." she answered herself and sigh. "But how I can be here? I supposed to die right?"

she sigh and sit propely on the sand. After that, she held her head.

"Next time, be careful girl. Don't easily kill yourself because you have a more better life. Forget what happen to you and start a new life."

"Wait.. I'm so sure I heard that voice in my head earlier. Who is she?" Yena asked herself and she look around her.

Nobody was there except her. It's already late night. Yena felt weird.

Slowly, she stood up and walked to her house, leaving the place with full of confused.

Without she knowing that Yuri was secretly looking at her. Yuri smiled a little before she go back to her place.

YENA open the door and she walked into her house. After that, she close the door. Yena turn around and she start to walk.

"Yah Choi Yena!" shouted someone make Yena startled and lift her head up.

"A-Ahh Eunbi unnie.." answer Yena, she smiled fakely and walked passing Eunbi. Eunbi felt weird and follow her.

"Hey, why you are so wet? What's wrong with you? Where did you go until you comeback at this late night?"

Eunbi asked Yena with full of question, Yena sit on the chair at the dining table. She grabbed a glass and put the water.

Yena drink with ignoring Eunbi. Eunbi gritted her teeth.

"Eo Yena? You comeback at this late night?" Eunbi turn around and saw her girlfriend, Hyewon was walking to them.

She sit in front of Yena and Eunbi. "She ignored me." tell Eunbi make Hyewon squeaked.

"Yah dumb duck!!" yelled Hyewon and Yena stop from drinking.

She look at her friends. "What? Don't bothering me." said Yena and sigh. Eunbi wrap her arms around Yena's shoulder.

"What happen? Tell us. Maybe we can help you."

"There's nothing you guys can help me."

Yena answer and she lowered her head. After that, Eunbi and Hyewon heard a little sobs from her. They are panicked.

"E-Eo? Yah Choi why are you crying? Isn't you want to propose Chaewon?" ask Hyewon.

Yena shook her head. "She reject me." answer Yena make both Eunbi and Hyewon shocked.

They looked at each other with a shocked face.

"But why?"

Yena lift her head up, she look at her friends.

"She said she wasn't ready for marriage. And all of these time, she just look at me as her bestfriend. I don't believe it. If she really thought me as her bestfriend, they why all of this time she acted like we are girlfriends?"

Yena burst out, Eunbi immediately hugged her tight. Yena rest her head on Eunbi's chest.

Hyewon gritted her teeth and held her hands tight.

"How dare she do this to my bestfriend. Kim Chaewon.." Hyewon mumbled. Eunbi calm Yena down.

"And earlier, I want to kill myself. I almost drowned in the ocean. But then when I open my eyes, I already at the land. I don't know who saved me. I don't know who is she."

Eunbi and Hyewon gasped. "What?! You tried to kill yourself?! How dare you!" mad Hyewon but Eunbi shook her head.

Hyewon sigh and look back to Yena. Yena just silent. "I know it's my fault. But I was not in my sense. I'm sorry." Yena apologized.

"You said is a girl saving you?" ask Eunbi and Yena nodded.

"And you don't see her?"

"Yes. I don't see anyone when I wake up. I just remember her voice." answer Yena.

Both Eunbi and Hyewon nodded. "Now, you have to rest Yena. Forget her. Forget the person who don't appriciated you."

Hyewon advised her, and Yena nodded again. Eunbi stood up.

"We will go to sleep now. Good night, Yena."

"Good night, unnie.. Hye."

Hyewon nodded and she also stood up. They walked leaving Yena alone.

Yena heavily sighed, she stroke her hair that still wet. Slowly, she stood up and leave the kitchen.

She walked to her room upstairs and get into her room. Yena take a quick shower and after that, she lay on her bed.

Yena decided to forget about Chaewon, she closed her eyes and then she fall asleep. 

YURI was smiling alone, she now was at somewhere. She moved her tail and play with her red hair.

Suddenly, Jisun comes. Yuri didn't realized it as she keep smiling alone. Jisun felt weird and she lean closer.

"Hey Yuri!"

Yuri shocked, she quickly turn around and saw Jisun. Yuri rolled her eyes and sigh. "Yah! I'm startled, unnie!" mad Yuri and Jisun laugh.

"What are you thinking about until you smiling alone like that? Other mermaid might think you are crazy."

Jisun said and Yuri chuckles. "No unnie.. I-I think.. Maybe I-I fall in love." Jisun open her eyes widely.

"What?! With who?!" asked Jisun quickly. Yuri smiled faded and she looked down.

Jisun realized that and she shook her head. "N-No way.. It must be no." Yuri bite her lips and she nodded.

"Yes. I'm in love with human. And it's a girl."

Jisun shocked even more, and Yuri sighed heavily. "B-But.. How can?" asked Jisun again.

"I saved a girl last night, she was about to kill herself. She almost drowned but I saved her. And I like that girl. My heart beat fast."

Yuri tell Jisun about the girl she saved last night. Jisun nodded. "But are you sure you wanna go up there? They are human!"

"And I will prove it to you, unnie. I will prove it to you that a mermaid and a human can be together!" retorted Yuri madly.

Jisun squeaked. "I don't know what to say to you anymore." Yuri smiled as she know what's the meaning.
