chapter 12

Yuri look in front of her. She just staring at humans who was having a fun moments at the land.

She sighed heavily. Yuri looked down. She bite her lips hard when her tears fall down.

"I miss you guys." Yuri utter, and she sobbing after that.

Yuri wipe her tears but the tears keep falling down.

Jisun just staring at Yuri. She felt so pity to her friend.

She know Yuri miss land so much. She know Yuri miss them so much.

But what can they do? Yuri said they might hate her. Jisun can't do anything.

Slowly, Jisun left Yuri alone. She swim into the ocean, leaving Yuri to calm down alone.

Yuri look at the humans and she smiled bitterly. "I miss you, Eunbi unnie. I miss you too Hyewon unnie."

"And I miss you so much, Yena unnie. I'm glad you don't know why I'm at the land. If not, you might hates me more."

Yuri utter, she laughed for her stupidness. Then, Yuri shook her head.

"You are so stupid, Yuri. Why did you fall for a human, huh? You know that a human and a mermaid cannot be together? So stupid."

Yuri laugh again as her tears keep falling down and changed into a pearls.

The next day..

YENA just staring at her cake and her milkshake. She was alone in the cafe now.

Yena sigh and she eat her cake. But after that, she put the spoon on the table. Yena squeaked madly.

"Why I can't forget you, Yuri? What you have done to me?" ask herself. Yena stroke her blondie hair aggressively.

"Where are you now, Yuri? Eunbi unnie and Hyewon miss you so much. I-I.. I miss you too."

Yena lowered her head, she quickly wipe her tears that want to fall down. Yena hates this feeling.

She hates this feeling so much. The feeling when someone that she loves leaving her. Yena gasped.

Do I love Yuri?

"Yena!" Yena startled and lift her head up. She shocked seeing Chaewon in front of her.

"Ohh Chaewon ahh." Yena smiled fakely. Chaewon smiled back. "Can I sit?" Yena nodded and Chaewon sit in front of her.

"What are you doing here alone? Where is Minju?" asked Yena as she look around her. Chaewon giggles.

"Ohh Minju at my house. We decided to watch movie together so I went out to buy foods for us. But then I saw you alone so I came to you. Where is your girlfriend?"

asked Chaewon and she looked around her. Yena chuckles.

"She's not here. I go out alone since I want to be alone. She's okay and she was at her house."

answer Yena, of course she lied to Chaewon.

Chaewon nodded as she understand. "Ahhh okay." reply Chaewon simply.

"So, how was your relationship with Minju? You don't decided to propose her?" ask Yena, changed the topic about Yuri.

Chaewon left out a soft laugh, Yena smiled.

Before this, if Chaewon laugh like this her heart would skipped a beat but now, it's feels normal.

"Yes I decided to propose her this weekend. I hope she won't reject me as me reject you before."

Chaewon felt guilty to Yena. "Yena, I'm sorry for what I did to you." Chaewon apologized, Yena chuckles.

"No need to say sorry, I already forget everything. Now, just be happy with your Minju. Okay?"

Both of them smiles. Chaewon finally nodded.

"I will go now. Minju might waiting for me." Yena nodded and Chaewon stood up. They bid a goodbye.

Yena sigh after that. She stood up and go to pay her desserts.

After that, she walked out from the cafe.

Yena decided to go somewhere, the place the first time she met Yuri.

EUNBI now was alone in the house, today she didn't work as she keep feeling unwell. Hyewon out for a work.

Eunbi sit on the couch, she open the tv and changed the channel. Eunbi rolled her eyes.

There's nothing interesting to watched. Finally, she closed the tv and put the remote controller on the desk.

"Yuri.." suddenly, Yuri's name out from her mouth. Eunbi was gasped. But then, she sighed heavily.

"I miss you so much, Yuri. Comeback to us. I'm not mad at you, Yuri. Why should I mad to you?"

Eunbi mumbled to herself, and her tears fall down finally.

Eunbi lay down on the couch, she keep crying. "I'm glad you accept us as your friends." she added before she's sleeping.

Yena sit on the sand, she hug both her knees. She look at the ocean and smiled.

"If I could turn back the time, I won't be cold to you, Yuri. Now I'm regretted it so much."

Yena sigh. She look around her and saw nobody except her. Yena shrugged her shoulder.

"I hope I can meet you again, Yul. I beg you so much, please appeared in front of me again. I want to meet you and bring you home."

Yena lowered her head, and then her tears finally fall down. Yena couldn't lied to herself anymore.

She admit, she miss Yuri so much and she also admit, she start to love Yuri.

She realized, Yuri always make her felt happy although she's annoying.

Yuri also make her realized, she supposed not to be cold with other people.

Yena sobbing so hard, she's a girl after at all. Yena wipe her tears and look beside her left.

Her eyes widely open when she saw a mermaid figure was sitting on the rocks, back facing her.

The mermaid was singing with her husky voice.

Her hair was red, same with Yuri. Yena startled and she stood up.

Slowly, she lean closer to the figure. Yena's heart beat fast.

Her jaw dropped when saw the mermaid. It's Yuri!

"Y-Yuri ahh.." call Yena slowly but the mermaid can heard it clearly.

The mermaid stop from singing and turn around as they meet their eyes. Both of them shocked.

"Y-Yena unnie?"

I keep saying I want to end this book quickly but I can't😫 what's wrong with me huaaaa?!!?!?!
