Black and white and how they are associated with the good and the bad gives us the tendency to think in extremes. Black mainly being associated with the darkness makes it a strong representation of evil while white mirrors cleanliness and purity thus making it as the symbol of goodness.

This thought pattern that is also called polarized thinking is considered as a cognitive distortion. It is preventing us from seeing the world as it truly is: complex and full of shades in between.

This mindset doesn't allow us to find the middle ground. And let's all admit that we'll all choose to trust someone in white first rather than the black clad person because our human instinct screams for it. Our fight and flight response tells us to choose something that appears to be less threatening.

A handsome young man stood on a balcony of this grand Corsican mansion, looking all angelic and divine in his brilliant white turtle neck long sleeves. He was watching over his pair of black and white cats playing down his garden. A smile forms on his attractive face when the white cat toppled over the black one. He doesn't want to admit it but he's a little more fond of the white one named Kuro than the black one Shiro.

The door to the balcony opened noisily causing the man in white to get distracted and a little irritated. He scrunched his nose, keeping down his annoyance before turning to face the not so welcomed guests.

"Young master Masa, we caught this man loitering at the back of the the manor. We find him suspicious after he failed to answer our inquiries as to why he is in this forbidden grounds. We thought we should bring him to you." A towering man in his late 20's bowed down to the much smaller man in front of him. Another man steps forward holding a man clad in black whose hands were subdued by handcuffs. There were dark circles around his eyes but it doesn't stop him looking that handsome. He was struggling against the much bigger man before he came face to face with the little master clad in white.

Vee glared at Masa who seem to be smiling mischievously at him. He heard about this man from his other companions. This angelic face holds so many dark rumors around him. They said that his face doesn't justify his blood thirst for violence and ruthless behavior. Many of Vee's kinds claimed they suffered under Masa's merciless hands. Vee's kinds are what the people call as demons, yet all of them feared this stony-hearted creature the humans call an angel.

"Kill me if you have to! I will not tell you about that soul you are looking for!" Vee gritted his teeth in vexation. He knows exactly what the angel wanted from him. It's that soul he's been searching for a thousand of years. This angel had abducted and tortured many of his kinds in search for the soul of his old angel lover.

Legend tells about a powerful demon from a thousand years ago killing Masa's other half and snatching his soul away to take to the underworld. This angel had gone through centuries of searching for his lover's soul in every part of the three realms. But the demon who had stolen it made sure it was well hidden that no matter how the angel had searched, both from the underworld and that of the living, he was nevwr successful in locating what he was searching for.
