Angel Mark MasaI woke up in the morning feeling more cheerful and optimistic. It's the second day since the demon named Vee started living with me in this huge mansion and I admit sleeping side by side him had never given me this much peace of mind in the span of many centuries living alone in this huge and lonely place I call my home.
I never imagined myself feeling this kind contentment again. I thought all this time that I'm good with my life, alone and not a care to anything or anyone, that I can live like this for a few more centuries on my own without depending on anybody.
But this all changes two days ago when a demon who bores the same mark of that to my old lover Yin, came tresspassing on my walls. The surprise and shock I have gotten when I first saw that markings on his chest was almost too much to conceal, yet I did my best to hide it in order not to alarm him. I wasn't really 100% sure that this demon named Vee is really Yin's incarnate, so I have to hold him in for a few more days to make sure. So far, besides from the markings on his chest, he doesn't exhibit any similarities to that demon I used to love before.
As a matter of fact, both were the total opposite of each other. Yin had been odd ball and always get taunted by his fellow demons before for liking the things no normal creature of the underworld would like. It was his oddities that made us two meet each other. He was roaming around the world of the humans searching for rare species of ornamental plants. We met at the forest when I was looking for some medicinal roots. Yin's villa in hell was full of these tropical plants you see in the Amazon. I get his liking for plants that's why I surrounded my mansion with this similar plants.
Then there is Vee. I made him helped me groom some of my indoor plants yesterday, and it was a disaster. I can't understand why a demon hated the thought of getting his hand dirty. I have to fight the urge not to stab him with the trowel I used for my plants. He is such a drama queen.
In the end, he only caused more damage than help. He turned over a few pots of my favorite marygolds and just told me to throw them all away because he doesn't want the way they smelled like dead rats, and they weren't even expensive to begin with. What a poshed demon!
