The sun has died and the earth has fallen into orbit around Capella (another star).
Lilian is living life peacefully. She wonders what the world was like before capella had heated up the earth to unsurvivable heats and forced humanity to the north pole millennium ago. She one day dreams of venturing out and restoring life there. It seemed lonely, how this small population are the only sorce of life in the universe.
Owen finally gets the chance to see what is out there when he, and a group of travellers, create the technology to venture out into the heat. Sudenly they crash land after days of travelling and find what they thought was impossible.
