Piper and Jasper Fake Dating

Piper's POV

About half an hour after I ended the call with Jasper, Charlotte, and Henry, my phone started ringing.

I check the caller ID, and seeing that it's Charlotte, I answer.

"Hey, what's up?" I ask her.

"What's going on with you and Jasper?" She asked me.

"I told you what's going on. I was uncomfortable with that guy hitting on me, so I lied about dating Jasper."

"Oh, come on Piper! I think we both know that if that guy dared put a hand on you, you would have no problem beating him up." I sighed, knowing she was right. "Soooooooo, what's really going on?"

"Okay, fine. You're right, I could've beaten up that guy. I guess part of me... mabey, kind of, sort of," I passed, not knowing exactly how to finish that statement.

"Has a crush on Jasper?" Charlotte asks, knowingly.

"Okay. Mabey." I sighed. "What do I do, Charlotte? Not only is he four years older that me, but he's in another country! Plus, almost all his memories of me are probably me beating him up."

"First of all,  age doesn't matter. Second, you can either fly to see each other or have Miles teleport you. And third, I'm willing to bet he likes you, too."

"What makes you think he likes me like that?"

"Two reasons. One, I'm pretty good at reading people especially my friends who I've known my entire life. And two, because Henry just told me that he talked to Jasper, and he admitted to liking you."

"Okay. I'll talk to him tommorow."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye," I said.

I took my phone away from my ear and called Ray. I had a feeling he wouldn't answer, because he never really liked me.

Surprisingly, he actually answered.

"Hey, who is this?" He asked.

"Ray, it's Piper."

I heard him sigh.

"What do you want?"

"I need Miles's phone number."

"Why?" He asked, impatiently.

"Because I need him to teleport me to Distopia," I said.

"Why would you want to go to Distopia?"

"Because I need to talk to Jasper. And to save you from asking why, it's because I kind of..." I didn't know how to tell Ray that I liked Jasper.

"Because you have a crush on him?" He guessed.

"How did you know?" I asked, shocked. "

"Piper, it was kind of obvious. I saw the way you look at him," Ray said.

"Okay, okay. So will you please give me Miles's phone number?"

"Sure I'll text it to you right now, let me put you on speaker."

"Thank you," I said, hearing him tap on his phone.

"Ray," I began. I want to ask if he thinks Jasper will like me back, but I decide against it. Ray might end up convincing me not to tell Jasper.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Nevermind."

"If you were going to ask if I think Jasper will like you back, I definitely think he will."
