Temptation | A Bakugo & Uraraka Story Pt1

CHAPTER 1: BRANDED

*Shortly after moving into the dorms*

Uraraka

"Uraraka!" Ida called after opening the fridge. "We are low on food supplies! It's your turn to go shopping!"

"Already?" I thought, "I feel like I just went."

Ida walked over to the couches where I was sitting. "I have already written a list for you to follow."

He offered it for me to take. It looked long...

"Sure, thing!" I forced a smile. I was not feeling like going into town today. We finally had a day off from class and training, and I just wanted to relax. Sigh... oh well.

"Would you like someone to company you?" He asked.

That would make is less boring. "Yeah!"

Ida turned sharply and shouted, "Bakugo!"

The blond boy looked up from his walk across the commons. "Huh?"

"We are low on food supplies! You shall accompany Miss Uraraka to the store!" Ida chopped the air.

Bakugo glanced at me before protesting towards Ida, "Why the hell would I do that??"

"Because you've skipped your shopping errands for the last 2 turns!" Ida said, "I've been counting!"

Bakugo scowled.

"It's settled then! With both of you working together, you should be done in half the time!" Ida turned and walked away.

I wanted to laugh! Bakugo working together with someone?? Ha! All that boy is capable of doing is ordering people around. But I have the list, so we will see.

I stood up and stretched my back. "Well, I have to go get my stuff so I'll meet you back down here in 5 min!"

"Whatever."

We walked to the store easily enough. Bakugo was quiet and... calm? I think? I couldn't really tell, he was walking in front of me. But he wasn't causing trouble so that's a plus.

Before we went inside, he turned to me and said, "Four Eyes gave you a list right?"

"Yes, Ida did." I corrected.

He ignored the correction, "Hand it over."

I shook my head. "I can hold it. I will show it to you if you ask."

He glared and turned toward the doors. "Fine, you can do all the work."

"Bakugo, that's not what I meant---"

He held up a hand for me to halt. I looked to what he was focused on inside the store. A tall, thin woman was talking to the man at the register, but the man was bawling. Something was off.

"What the...?" I said.

And then the man opened the register and franticly started dumping the cash into a shopping bag!

I gasped, "She's robbing the store!"

Bakugo stepped in the doorway and shouted, "Hey!"

The woman turned and looked at Bakugo with a worried expression.

"What do you think you're doing?!" he threatened, palms open.

The woman frowned. "Shopping."

Bakugo charged her, and she ran around the aisle. He chased her, trying his best not to use his quirk to damage anything in the store. I could tell his plan was to grab and pin her down.
