Today was the day I finally get to go back to school. I can finally just focus on getting my diploma and getting the hell away from that damn school. I got up and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. After I showered I got ready putting on a simple outfit and fixing my hair. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I went back into my room to grab my shoes and my bag, heading downstairs. My phone buzzed from a message. I looked at it and instantly smiled. It was from Aryan. I haven't been able to get him out of my head since we went on that date Friday night. He just makes me so mushy inside. I caught myself having a flashback of us kissing and closed my eyes reminiscing. I bit my lip smiling at the memory. I snapped back to reality and shook my head. Who knew I would actually be able to feel this way again? I heard my mom's footsteps coming down the stairs and quickly rushed out of the house before she could see me. I didn't wanna speak to my mom, not that I was doing it on purpose but I still need a little more time. I walked out to Aryan standing in front of the passenger side of the door.

"Morning beautiful," he said opening the door for me. I smiled and got in putting my seatbelt on as he closed the door. He got in shortly after and pulled off heading to school.

"You know people are gonna start gossiping right?" I said looking at him.

"So. Let em talk, we know exactly what we're doing," he said briefly taking his eyes off the road to look at me before focusing back on driving. We aren't exactly in a relationship. It was more like we're friends who aren't just friends but still friends.

"Wow look at you, being bold," I said smiling.

"Oh c'mon I was never the type to care what a person says about me. They ain't putting money in my pockets, a roof over my head, clothes on my back, or food in my stomach," he said.

"True but just know Jae's gonna try it," I said looking at my hands.

"He know I would whoop his ass one on one, but I'll keep my guard up," he said. We pulled into the school lot and he parked his car. We arrived a bit early before classes started which left us enough time to sit and wait.

"He's still not over me deep down, so I don't wanna just pop up being with you and he tries to ambush you again," I said. He looked at me and smiled grabbing my chin with the tips of his fingers and pulling my face closer to his. I instantly caught butterflies and looked at his lips.

"He's gonna have to get over it soon. Its his loss because you finna be mine real soon," he said pecking my lips. He pecked them a few more times before biting my lip. I kissed him back sliding my tongue in his mouth. Lord please send my some strength because I wanted to give in and risk it all. The bell rang, interrupting our moment and we got out of the car. As soon we stepped out of the car everyone in the lot was staring at us, whispering. I began to feel my anxiety rushing and my breathing grew heavy.

"They're staring," I whispered to Aryan.

"Its okay Ken I'm right here," he said comforting me. Talia saw us and walked up to us with the biggest smile on her face.

"You two coming together? Interesting," she said looking at everyone as we walked in the school. I went to my locker while Aryan and Talia stood next to it.

"Today's gonna be a fun day," Aryan said.

"Yeah it is because look whose coming," Talia said. I looked down the hall seeing Jae and two of him homeboys walking toward us. As he walked up I closed my locker and sighed, rolling my eyes before turning around to face them.

"So I guess you two are a thing huh?" he said with a smirk on his face.

"Maybe we are, maybe we're not. Its not like its your business anyway," I said folding my arms looking at him.
