"Are you out of your mind women?!", he yells.
"No, I think I just found it. Blythe, I understand your childhood made you who you are, but I have common sense to treat others the way I would like to be treated. Obviously common sense Isn't that common".
I fuss at him. All he does is look at me with a deadpanned face. After a while he scoffs and mumbles something to himself. I don't say anything more to him, instead I just look at him waiting for him to say something to me. To my surprise he doesn't say anything at all, he just climbs back into the big bed making it dip next to me. I was about to leave the bed considering I don't want to be anywhere near him at the moment, before he stops me by saying this...
" Do you really think you know what it was like? whatever that old lady told you is only just a sliver of what really happened" he pauses, then scoffs "Hell my parents probably forced her to say that if anybody asked, that obviously came in handy. Whatever nonsense she put in your about me being ignored and not being the same as my parents and brother is partially true. But that's all you'll get to know, I don't know what you think this is but, I'm not going to give away my whole life to you, you have to earn it". He pauses thinking of the next words to say, struggling trying not to set something with me.
" I guess I haven't been the easiest person to talk to, but that's just my personality, if you want to have some sort of form of relationship with me; you have to work for it. It wouldn't be completely fair if you were the one doing all the work-so, I will try to open up and.."
"Be nicer" I said finishing his sentence. His apology was horrible, but in the mist of it I understand what he was trying to say, his pride was getting in the way of the apology because he wasn't exactly telling me he was wrong, but I guess it was enough to get what he was saying. Of course, he is a man of pride. Though this is sooner than I expected for him to give me an apology, even after we were arguing for quite some time. I hope we didn't wake anyone up. I sit back down on the bed and look at him, his face remaining neutral at mine, my lips curve upwards a little bit, he looks surprised but quickly vails it over with his neutral face again.
"I except your apology Blythe. Now after all that has happened, I think it's clear to say we are both tired and need rest. I expect in the morning you will treat me better" I say, almost as a warning. He doesn't say anything and lays down next to me on his side, facing away from me. My stomach faces the ceiling as my eyes close without hesitation.

As I'm eating breakfast the servants prepared for me, Blythe shortly takes his sit after I start eating my delicious breakfast. My plate is filled with black cherries that I requested, and a croissant filled with strawberry jam with eggs on the side of my plate and to wash it all down, I have orange juice. Infront of me is a serving of fruits and bread etc. Blythe sits at the far end of the table like always as I expected. I continue eating my breakfast not paying to Blythe anymore. A chair gets pulled out beside me, and I look up and see Blythe setting his plate of food by mine. He sits down next to me and starts digging into his food paying me no mind. I try not show my bright smile so he wouldn't find it obvious that I noticed.
After silence fills the room other than the silverware scraping and clinking against the plate Blythe clears his throat and looks at me intently.
"I have some people that are coming over today?"
"Your friends?" I say as almost as a statement but with a hint of deniability. He nods and I can't help but slump in my seat he notices and looks at me with an amused face, that's the first time I've seen him with a different expression other than mad, serious, or annoyed. Maybe he is going to try to be better like he said he was going to. Two good things this morning, so far, it's been a nice day.
