Note: This skit is a trilogy. Which means it composes of 3 parts. This is Part 1. There'll be mentioning about Christianity and Filipino things like TV channels. If you're triggered by those topics, then it'd be for the best to not read it. I hope you guys have prepared for Christmas!
At the 秘密 Sky House, everyone seems to be extremely busy. Zien (Gentleman_bandit) just arrived at the house, only to discover Sora (Me) singing "Jingle Bells" and Tsumi (rzsmochi) being a bit annoyed by Sora singing.
Zien: Yo! You two, what's with all the noises of singing about?
Tsumi: Oh... It's more of Sora singing Christmas songs.
Zien: Why in the holy Southern Sets Town is Sora singing Christmas when it's not December?
Sora: Well, here's my answer. Christmas is coming soon!
Tsumi: Why are you so hyped about it? We're still in November.
Sora: Exactly! My Christmas spirit will activate on November!
Zien: Oh, my goodness...
Sakura: What's all these crazy noises about?Sakura (JLouiseSarocam) arrived with her apron on and holding a ladle and seems to be pissed off by them. Can't blame her for being pissed off. The chaos in the base is unbearable.
Sora: Sakura!
Sakura: What did you do, Sora?
Sora: I... Uh...
Tsumi: She's singing Christmas songs at November and Zien is now annoyed by it.
Zien: Exactly.
Sakura: It's obvious that we'll be hyped about Christmas starting November. December is after November, and the excitement is accurate. End of the explanation.
Sora: Yeah! ... But now that I think about it... If December is coming up at Central Moon City, "The Eternal Snow" will be coming up.
Tsumi: Oh. That time of the year?
Sora: Yep. Lilac told me a lot about "The Eternal Snow". She said that on the start of December, snow made from elemental energy will start to fall at the city.
Sakura: We experienced it before so...
Lilac: Everyone will be having the feeling of Christmas all the way once the snow starts to pour down at the city.Lilac (maris_universe) enters the area holding her notebook and pen. The notebook she's holding is her "Idea Gathering" Journal. A skilled drawer and writer can never pass an opportunity to miss a spectacular event to happen, which would explain her excitement for "The Eternal Snow".
Sora: As expected of Lilac. When it comes to traditions and festivals in her home place, she'll never stop talking about it.
Lilac: I won't continuously talk about it, if we didn't have traditions and festivals as the main topic of the conversation.
Zien: It seems like this event seems to be awaited by the people around here. I wonder why.
Sakura: I heard many tales about it. Some says that an evil wizard once struck havoc to this city by making them suffer eternal light. Like no nights at all. And other people say that this snow is a curse from a "goddess" that found out how cold people here are to others.
Zien: Meh. Those are just tale told stories that tells their children to not be bad or dumb.
Lilac: Exactly. There's a real story about why there's elemental snow in the city. I want to save that tale on Christmas time.
Tsumi: Moving that out of the way, having an elemental snow occurring and people celebrating it like a festival... That's too much festivities and pointless. Like what's the point of it?
Lilac: (I expected that. She may be into it, but has been not into pointless festivals.)
Sora: Speaking of which, do you think that we should plan for December in regards to both Christmas and "The Eternal Snow" month? It would be nice to come up some emergency plans and minimized schedules during those festivities.
Zien: I agree with Sora, for once. I might be busy on December, so it would be best to plan the events and activities we'll do for December.
Tsumi: True, and also Lavender told me that the Advent Season is coming up. We need to prepare an advent wreath.
Sakura: Yeah, yeah... I got her "thoughtful thinking" as always.
Lilac: I won't be fully joining that idea, but I understand on why she does that. I'll leave that be.
Sora: Now... Let's start planning about our activities for the upcoming month! Let's start off with what's first in the list, advent!
Sora: Now... Let's start planning about our activities for the upcoming month! Let's start off with what's first in the list, advent!
Zien: Not everyone celebrates that, Sora. Advent is only applicable to that religion.
Sora: I know, so that's why before we continue our day, those that are in the advent spirit can go to the empty room for praying and lighting the candles of the Advent Wreath. How about that?
Tsumi: Okay, that seems fair enough.
Lilac: I'm writing everything down in my journal. Advent Prayers at the empty room starting on the 1st week of December.
Sakura: Thank you, Lilac. Now next would be the decoration. The decoration spree will be on the 3rd week of November. We still have our old Christmas tree, but the ornaments though... We gave it away on January 15 this year.
Zien: Why? I prefer not buying new ornaments. It's too costly.
Tsumi: Do you forget Zien? Adaria told us that those ornaments have been with her for 5 years, and it's a staple for her to give it away after 5 years of using it.
Lilac: Such a dedicated woman to give those ornaments to those that don't have one!
Zien: I don't accept it! I would end up paying everyone again!
Sora: Zien, what's final is final. We'll be having a decoration spree, with Lavender's money!
Sakura: That's a bit of a stretch, but yes, I accept the idea Sora. I also think that we'll decorate it on December 11. That'll be when everyone will prepare their gifts, food, and their calendars marked on that time.
Zien: (A gift... Hmm...)
Tsumi: Despite all of those simple deeds Sakura, everyone has their own traditions and ways of celebrating Christmas.
Sora: Well, that's true, so... Tsumi, how do you celebrate Christmas back at West Low Valley?
Tsumi: Me?! Well... It's nothing much like a tradition, but a staple habit on Christmas. I just eat tteokbokki with ramen noodles and herbal tea. Having spicy and sweet foods on Christmas is the best for me.
Sakura: You eat tteokbokki with ramen noodles on Christmas?! For reals?!
Tsumi: Yeah... What's the matter with that?
Sakura: Because somehow, I heard Lavender talking about those kinds of foods, aside from the gimbap and kimchi.
Zien: As expected from Lavender...
Sora: The let's have that for Christmas! It's really fun to clash traditions even though they can't mix well. Plus, Lavender might be happy when she got a chance to eat that.
Tsumi: Whatever Sora, but at least it's helpful. Now, it's Sakura's turn! How do you celebrate Christmas back at East High Coast?
Sakura: Oh dear... Well... I'd be Christmas Caroling at my neighbor's house... That also includes Lavender only giving me cents.
Sora: You do that?! I used to do that for my great grandma.
Lilac: Same for me! I always prefer to sing "Feliz Navidad".
Sakura: Oh? Then I prefer the song; "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer".
Sora: Those choices are cool! While I prefer... All of the ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs from 2009 to the present time.
Zien: NO! NOT ABS-CBN!
Sora: A reminder. No one should mention about the events happening IRL here.
Lilac: True. Many things had happened, so please don't mention tragic events if they're not important to us in this.
Zien: Okay fine. Whatever.Awkward silence follows. I don't want to talk about ABS-CBN and their incidents. I don't want to break the mood just like that. Anyways, luckily Lilac knows how to fix a broken atmosphere in the conversation. Lilac, please do something... Now!
Lilac: Now I'm curious. What tradition does Sora preserve for Christmas?
Sora: Oh! Yeah... Uh...
Tsumi: Well Sora?
Sora: Okay. I celebrate Christmas with my family the normal way. Feasting food, opening gifts, and finally meet mom back from work.
Zien: Oh. It's your typical Christmas tradition.
Lilac: It may be typical, but the reason why we celebrate Christmas that way, is because they represent the family being together, in peace, and learn about the aspect of others.
Sora: Lilac is right. Love is strong... But not as strong as FAMILY.
Tsumi, Sakura & Zien: NO SORA, NO!
Lilac: Ehehehe... Anyway, you've already known some of the traditions in Central Moon City already, so it's Zien's turn now.
Zien: Now I'll be in the pack?
Sora: I already said it earlier, and I won't say it again. It's too much "family" jokes for me.
Zien: Oh... Mine is similar to Sakura's. More of caroling, but on a karaoke.
Tsumi: A karaoke? I remember cringing myself with that.
Sakura: Then we'll have a karaoke challenge! How does that sound?
Lilac: That actually sounds kind of fun. But the thing is... What will we all sing? Christmas songs only?
Tsumi: OF COURSE! IT WON'T MAKE SENSE IF WE PLAY ANGST SONGS ON A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS!
Zien: Yeah. I agree with Tsumi. TOTALLY!
Sakura: Are you guys, okay? I know it's annoying to hear Christmas songs, but sometimes, those songs warm other's hearts.
Lilac: Sakura is really right. Warmth of everyone's hearts. If you remember, in our CVL class, excluding Sora but I think she knew about it. Christmas is the birthday of the baby Jesus.
Sora: Indeed. We already know who Jesus is, and it's also about helping and reminding others about the fact love between family, friends, neighbors and our own selves exist. Even though we're too flawed in the beyond, love and hope conquers it all.
Zien: You do have a big mouth with inspirational messages.
Sora: Exactly! In short, we're different in preferences, but we felt a similar message with each other. It's pretty obvious a group friends can be considered as a family.
Tsumi: I guess so... But what kind of songs we'll play in the challenge?
Lilac: I think we'll have the songs sung by the one and only, Jose Mari Chan.
Sakura: Oh! Good choice. Good choice.Zien sighed in disbelief. Makes sense as he's done with some of our **** when we're talking about annoying songs playing on a normal day that's not Christmas.
Zien: Oh dear... For the karaoke though... Are we just singing Jose Mari Chan songs? It's pretty obvious that Tsumi can't handle the memes made from "Christmas in our Hearts".
Tsumi: I can handle it, but it'd be nice if we have another artist for the challenge.
Sakura: How about the ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs, like how Sora prefers it?
Sora: I wish, but it's Lilac who's taking notes so...
Lilac: We will...
Sora: REALLY?!
Lilac: Yes Sora, we will... (Just because you were disappointed when we told you not to play Honkai Impact Songs, and didn't join on the jamming day.)
Zien: Guess we'll be having a truckload of ABS-CBN Christmas Songs and we go rampage with our Root Beer.
Tsumi: We won't do it again! We went bamboozled after that thanks to our... Insomniac night...
Sakura: Yeah, Lavender wasn't able to attend class because of that. Anyway, is that all?
Sora: That's all! Everything will be fixed on December 1st to do some enhancements.
Lilac: If that's settled, let's go back on doing our own thing now. I have to finish writing my essay for Physics class.
Tsumi: Well, to not disturb the others, me and Sora will hang out at her room and yeah.
Zien: I guess... I'll just think on who shall I give a gift this Christmas.
Sakura: Well good. Now, let's head out of the living room and go now with our duties. So that I can finally finish the soup!
Everyone: Okay.
Sakura: (I hope that someone will give me a gift this Christmas...)It all ends with Sora & Tsumi at Sora's bedroom singing Christmas songs all the way, Sakura at the kitchen making the soup for lunch, Lilac at her bedroom continuing her essay, and Zien at the window, looking at the sky, wondering about who to give this Christmas. Hmm... I wonder what changes will be made in this December plan.
