Note: Mochi Adventures features characters from Soraline. Meaning to say that Mochi's Adventures will be considered unofficial to the main timeline, until things are fixed up with the lore and such. Still, please enjoy this random adorable skit I made out of thin air... Mochi's Adventures!

When the 秘密 Sky House is empty, something lurks out of its shadows... It is a gray thing... They emerged out of the shadows... Revealing they're not just gray... It has ears, peachy paws, fluffy tail, and bubbly eyes... My friends, this ambiguous creature is none other than... Mochi! Let's get into some important introductions. This little fella over here is Mochi. It's rumored to be a creepy creature, and that it's someone you should be afraid of at the night... According to the legends of Central Moon City, that is... Well, it turns out, that isn't what Mochi is like. They're just a friendly shadow emerging cat that's so adorable like a cotton candy! They live at the shadows of the Writing Peeps' house, and loves watching the Writing Peeps bond and have fun at the house. You can say that Mochi is a spiritual guardian of the house. Of course, when seeing the Writing Peeps be out for important businesses, it's Mochi's task to make things be comfortable and presentable when they arrive back here. So, they emerge out from the shadows, and starts talking to the 4th Wall... As it's their abilities as a shadow cat.

Mochi: Oh! Hello! I'm Mochi!

Mochi waves their paw towards the 4th Wall... Where it isn't visible to some, but Mochi can see it... Even we can see it! Oh well, Mochi makes their way around the house. When walking, they make squeaky noises, like they're a limited-edition squeaky toy for sale. They move around, until they stumble upon the most holy ground to them... The kitchen. As soon as they arrived, they went to the cabinets and places some tools over the counter. When doing so, they continue to talk to the 4th Wall.

Mochi: What do you think I'm doing? Well... The Writing Peeps are out of home, so... I thought that I'll bake some gooey chocolate chip cookies for them! Now, I better hurry up and not get caught here in the act!

Mochi then went to the cabinets and refrigerators. The next thing they did, they place some ingredients over the counter. With everything on top of the counter, they're ready to start. They proceed to talk to the 4th Wall with over-the-top formality.

Mochi: Hello, everyone! Mochi here! Today, I'm going to teach you how to make the best chocolate chip cookies ever! So, I'm following Tasty's recipe, and that is the best recipe ever made. Hands down! Anyhow, what you need for this recipe is... Granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, unsalted butter, egg, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, baking soda, milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks, dark chocolate chunks, or your preference of chocolate can work. It depends on your mood... So be happy, if you want to have the sweetest cookies ever!

Mochi then gets themselves ready with washing their paws... Once they're cleaned, it's time to start baking cookies with Mochi! Mochi starts mixing, while teaching the people beyond the 4th Wall, and giving us the procedure on how to make the cookies they made for the Writing Peeps.

Mochi: First, combine the sugars, salt, and butter. Mix it altogether, until it forms a paste with no lumps. Then, add in the egg and vanilla, and mix it all up! To see if it's done, lift up the whisk and see if light ribbons fall off the whisk and remain for a short while before falling back into the mixture. If it does that, then it's finished. What's next is to sift in the flour and baking soda. Then, fold the mixture using a spatula. Remember this, everyone! Be careful not to overmix this process! No one wants cakier cookies, right? If you do like those kinds of cookies... Then you need some help. Just feed yourself cake, and not cookies. Moving on! We go to the best part of the process! It's the chocolates! So, start folding in the chocolate chunks. Once they're incorporated, the dough is finished! All you need to do is chill it for at least 30 minutes. If you want a more intense toffee-like flavor and deeper color, you can chill the dough overnight. Just note that the longer the dough rests, the more complex its flavor will be... So, if you want a bursting flavor of chocolate, go ahead and do that. However, I'm a moderate kind of cat... That's why, I follow the instructions. Besides, we don't have much time.
