Petal looked at herself in the mirror one more time, trying to fix her curls. Her papa walked by and chuckled. "Hey, let me help you, sweetie." She smiled as Harry fixed her hair. He kissed her cheek and smiled. "You look beautiful."

"Papa, you always say that." She giggled. "Because it's true."

"You only say that because I'm you daughter."

"Yeah, just like he always calls me handsome because I'm his mate." Liam said from the doorway. "Hey, that's because you are." Liam giggled as he walked in. Harry pulled him in a gave him a kiss. They heard giggling behind them and Petal smiled. "Come on in Harley, can't forget about my favorite baby sister." A little girl with dark green eyes ran in and hugged her daddies leg. Liam chuckled and went to pick her up. "Well, don't you look pretty in your dress." She giggled as Liam kissed her cheek.

"Okay, how do I look?" They turned to their older daughter and smiled. "Like a princess." Harry smiled as he took her hand and kissed the back of it. "Do you think Freddie's going to like it?" Petal asked as she looked at herself in the mirror one more time to see if anything was wrong with her dress.

"I think he'll love it, now come on, the birthday girl can't be late for her own party, now can she?" Liam said as they walked out of her door and down to the car where Tammy and Khai were waiting. "Girl, you look hot!" Tammy said as she snapped she fingers. "You think Freddie will like it."

"Babe, if he doesn't, I'm scratching his eyes out." Petal giggled as Khai talked. "Alright, we'll see you there." Harry and Liam kissed Petal before they went off walking.

"I can't believe she's already eighteen." Liam said in awe as they walked. "Well, she wasn't going to stay a kid forever." Harry said as he swung Harley around. "Yeah, but, wow, we're old." Harry chuckled as he let Harley run ahead. "Time goes on and change always happens. We weren't going to stay young forever." Liam chuckled as he grabbed Harry's hand. "No, but I'll love you forever." They stopped walking and looked into each others eyes.

"You took the words right out of my mouth." Liam giggled as he went on his tippy toes to give Harry a kiss. "Alright come on, we can continue this at the party." Harry whispered against Liam's lips and tugged him along.

They got there just as Petal got out of the car. She walked over to them and they took her hand. "Ready?"

"For what? To find out if Freddie's my mate or my birthday?" Liam giggled. "Well, which one are you looking forward to the most?" Petal took in a deep breath and squeezed her fathers hands. "Freddie." She giggled.

"Can you smell him from out here?" Petal nodded as Harry talked. "Well, is it usually that strong?" She shook her head. Harry smiled as he looked at Liam. "Well, let's go in and see." Liam grabbed Harley's hand with his free one and they walked in.

Of course, the whole Skulk and near by packs were there. Everyone congratulated Petal on finally reaching of age, but Liam could see that she was skimming the room for someone. He smiled and squeezed her hand. She looked at him and blushed.

"Looking for Freddie, hun?"

"Is it that obvious daddy?" Liam giggled as he kissed her cheek. "You know, I might not be like you or your papa, but I think he's been staring at you from upstairs the moment we walked in." Petal's breath caught in her throat.

"Hey, let her be our baby for just a little longer." Harry pouted. Liam giggled as he let Petal's hand go and took Harry's in his. "Weren't you the one that told me that time goes on?" Harry pouted as he looked at his daughter. "I suppose." Harry groaned, causing his family to laugh.

"Fine, just give me one more hug before you go to him, yeah?" Petal smiled as she jumped into her papa's arms. "I love you." Harry smiled and she thought he was going to start cry. "I love you more." He let her go and watched her go upstairs.

Harry picked Harley up and brought Liam in with his other hand and they watched them.

Freddie stood straight as Petal made it to the top of the stairs. They just stared at each other and they both muttered 'mate'. Petal blushed as played with her hair once it was over. She was freaking out inside but happy.

"You look beautiful." Petal gasped as Freddie was now standing in front of her. "You always say that." Petal laughed, then she cleared her throat. "Because it's always true." He smiled as he offered his hand. She looked at it for a moment before taking it and sparks shocked them at first, but it was never a bad feeling.
