❝ take my hand,
take my whole life too,
for I can't help,
falling love with you ❞{《☆》}
There is a lot you've been feeling after your meeting with Songbird, lots of anxiety that wounds up in you as you think back to his breakdown. It plagues you when you wake up and you call your manager and tell him you're calling off for the day. It's only when he reminds you that you'd have to reschedule your meeting between Dream and TommyInnit. Honestly, it'd be better to get it over with even if you feel the urge to obsessively sleep and wait for your Songbird.
You pull yourself towards your closet for something nicer than your pj's. There's a nice shirt hanging in your closet that you pull on with a cute little bowtie that Theo had bought you for your birthday last year, a cute navy blue one with white polka dots that had been a part of a set. You thumb your finger over the soft material, feeling a bit nostalgic at the memory of the part he had thrown for you.
The alarm you had set yesterday rings out, reminding you that the meeting was set to start soon. You set your laptop up on the kitchen table, fixing the web-cam you own to not catch any of the countless papers littered across the table. The call you open bloops and you sit there, sifting through papers for a few minutes before a bloop bleeps and someone joins the call.
You look up, "Ah, Dream correct?" You fix the papers back into the folder, straightening your back. "We're still waiting for TommyInnit but we can start discussing some of the logistics before he arrives if that's good with you."
"Sounds good," He nods, the porcelain mask shifted to rest on the side of his head.to reveal the sweet jade green eyes and kind smile. "I've been through this with a few other people before but I've never done this with a minor."
"Well it's practically the same thing, we just have to regard a few more precautions and all. Protecting the youth and all that," You muse, remembering the speech you had been given during orientation and some poor sap asked. That worker had been oddly extravagant. "So essentially..."
You spend the next ten minutes going through all of the extra work necessary to get the visa. By the time the last member joins, a loud crash follows only seconds after and taking another 20 seconds to load their webcam, you've already talked Dream through the schedule for the next couple of months. "TommyInnit, pleasure,"
"Nice to meet you," He says, very loudly before he winces at his own voice. Quieter, but still very vibrant if not a bit awkward. "You can call me Tommy. Um, I have done a bit of world-hopping before but uh, it's been a while."
"That's fine," You assure him, more than used to explaining the process.
It doesn't take all that long to explain everything to him, with Tommy nodding along and asking questions along every few minutes. Suddenly, someone, voice smooth and melodic, mumbles in the background. "Wil! Go away!" He quickly mutes with his camera shutting off for a few minutes before he suddenly returns with a sheepish smile. "Sorry, my brother was being a bother."
You continue explaining without another pause, but your mind is still stuck on that voice. You can't explain it but it sounded familiar.

There is nothing to do in your side of the dreamscape, the flowers are wilting beneath your feet as you pace. Songbird isn't here yet, you had checked his cottage first and reluctantly returned after a long while of waiting. Even now you paced the outline of the biome change, switching between kicking snow endlessly and leaning down to pick flowers to twirl between your fingers before they curl up and wither into dust.
