Y/N, a far relative of the kätzlein bloodline, being part cat.
Today they had moved from Ritou to Watatsumi Island, as their father is now a part of the Watatsumi Army.

"Please be careful father," you lowered your head.
"Don't worry Y/N, I'll be fine. Feel free to visit the camp anytime whenever you feel lonely. For now, wonder about and explore the island. Make new friends!" Your father smiled.
"You're right, see you, dad. Stay safe." You hugged him goodbye.
After he left, you then went to sit on the lilac grass, brushing the strands of your ears and tail.

All I had was my father, no friends, family, nor a mother. She had gotten horribly sick when I was very young.
All these years I've felt different, as I was the only part animal out of all the people I was surrounded by.

You knelt and tucked your tail between your legs.
"Oh my, are you lost?" A very gentle voice called out.
You stood up and lowered your ears, trying to hide them.
"Oh not at all! L/N Y/N, a pleasure to meet you!" You faced the woman who was talking to you.

"Oh you must be Mr. L/N's child, I'm Sangonomiya Kokomi, Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island," she held your hands with an angelic smile.
"Oh uh... I'm Aether, nice to meet you," the Traveler shook your hands.
"Wow! I've heard so much about you. What brings your visit here on Watatsumi Island?" You asked.
"Oh I'm just helping Kokomi with her duties."
"That's so sweet. It's so nice to have company," you clapped in awe.
You lifted your ears a bit accidentally.
You realized and patted them down.
"You... have ears?" the Traveler saw.
"Wha uh ye-yea..." You were embarrassed.
"Oh, they're just like General Gorou. A hybrid breed... I think that's what they're called?" Kokomi said.
"Huh? Is there someone like me?! Huh wha- who?!" You were very curious, jumping up and down.
"Yes indeed, he's the General of Watasumi's Army. Despite being younger than most of his soldiers, he's very hardworking and strong."
"Woah so he captains my father... impressive. I'd love to see the Army in action. H-have a good day Miss Sangonomiya! You too Traveler!"
You ran off, exploring the island with a big smile.
