You were walking from the Grand Narukami Shrine to the Kamisato Estate for a meeting when you were interrupted by a strangely dressed man.
"You! I challenge you to an incredible, cool, and deadly... Onikabuto wrestling match!"
You paused for a few seconds, perplexed and bothered by his outgoing demeanour.
"I'll have to pass because I'm late for a meeting," you said as you walked away.
"Okay, fine! Perhaps next time?" He yelled. What's the deal with these strange people in this area? Ugh... I hope the person I marry isn't as strange as he is.
You entered their estate...
"Y/N, you're here, take a seat," your mother motioned.
You sat next to her, and in front of you sat the man you were marrying. He was quite attractive. So I'm assuming he was the one I was corresponding with about the project we were working on.
"Greetings, Kamisato Ayato, head of the Kamisato Clan," he said, "delighted to finally meet you in person."
You bowed, "L/N Y/N, future Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine, pleasure to meet you as well."
*You are Yae Miko's cousin; she refused to marry, so you took her place.
Following the introductions, your parents proceeded to explain and plan the marriage ceremony with the caretakers of the Kamisato siblings. You were secretly unhappy about marrying someone you didn't love, but you kept your cool as you didn't want to disappoint your parents.
Following the discussion, your parents allowed you and Ayato some alone time outside."So, Ayato, tell me more about yourself..." you began.
"What do you want to know?" He inquired.
"Do you have a favourite dish or beverage?"
"Variety is the spice of life. In that sense, the Milk Tea Medley they started serving over in Hanamizaka recently isn't half bad. You should try it sometime. Other than that... I don't have any particular preferences when it comes to the food I eat on a daily basis. I have dedicated staff to arrange my daily meal plan, and whatever they serve, I eat'?" He stated.
"That's a good choice of beverage. I tried it once and found it to be very tasty, " you cracked a smile.
"If you want, we can try some right now. Let's go to the city where it's sold," he asserted.
"Sure," you said as he gently gripped your hand.
You two went off to Inazuma's City.
He was charming and elegant, but you didn't feel any butterflies in your stomach. You two appeared to be just two friends hanging out.
As you were travelling to the city, you were interrupted once more, by the same guy you had seen before.
"Ayato my bro, I don't see you around much. What has brought you here?! " They were ecstatic.
"I'm out with my fiance, Y/N," he explained.
"Oohh!! Hi again!" He made a wave.
"Hello..." you said, waving.
"Let's go, darling. I'm extremely thirsty," you said as you dragged Ayato away from the man.
"Woah... is something wrong?" He wondered.
"My family is not fond of oni's. They represent bad luck."
You kept walking down the path towards the city.
"You appear to be very committed to your family's beliefs." Ayato stated.
"Family is always first, right?" you asked.
Ayato gave a nod.
