The Fallen

Chapter 4

Everyone was still in shock that one of them has found their one, after all it is a rare occurrence, but it was welcomed by almost everyone there, the only people to object it are Kai, Nai, Jai and Mai.

They were still in the other room trying to calm down Kai, then all of a sudden, Kai went quiet, she got this blank, calm face and her eyes glazed over, and she stayed like that for three minuets, and after the far away look left her face, she looked down and spoke in a different language that the dwarves could not understand and after that, she walked up to Fili and said" Listen here dwarf, if you so much as hurt her in any physical, mental, or emotion way, i'll kill you if her mother does not. Do I make myself very clear dwarf prince?"

Fili shook his head yes and after he did, she walked out of the door, no one saw her for the rest of the night.

I do not know why they are acting like this towards us, and why does they keep on calling us Dwarf/Dwarves?

~~~~~Jai's P.O.V.~~~~~~~

He looked towards his siblings and said" Well, that went better than I expected, I thought for sure that she would burn him or something like that, now master dwarf, I suggest that you take her advice seriously, the last person who didn't take her seriously one half of him is in Mordor and the other half of him is in Lindon. Now, goodnight."

And with that they started to grab their stuff and head towards the door, but Bilbo stopped them and asked" Why are you going outside, aren't you going to sleep?"

"Oh, right....we are, it's just that we don't necessarily like sleeping indoors, that and we do not trust dwarves at all, especially since Thror banished my people, so...um....goodnight."

And with that, they walked out of the room to sleep, so quickly, they found their companion on a hill not far away, she was holding a little crescent moon necklace with a star in the middle, looking up in the sky with a look of sadness, Mai seeing the look on her face, walked up to her and sat down next to her. Kai, who sensed them coming, looked towards them and gave them a tiny smile. Mai, knowing what she was thinking, put an arm around her and gave her a little squeeze. After that, they all walked up to a hill and laid down, well all but Nai and Jai, they were on watch, while they were sharpening their weapons, they looked up to the midnight sky and they thought the same thing, we will watch over your wife my brother. And they stayed like that until the next morning, when they heard the dwarves starting to wake up, so they woke up everyone else.
