As Annabeth walked away from the Palace of Athena, Athena began to tell Percy the secrets of the gods. "Alright Athena I'm ready."

"Let's get started, Percy the first thing you need to know is how to summon your godly form." Athena started to walk to her giant bookcase and Percy doesn't want to admit it but she really looked good in her librarian outfit she had glasses and a Greek tunic. Athena came back with a enormous book titled 'The Secrets Of The Gods' the author was Athena herself. She stared at Percy expectantly.

"Percy, can you read or do I have to read to you?" Percy flushed in a bright shade of red.

"No ma'am." Percy shook his head like it was about to fall off.

Percy began to read, "The Ancient Laws are laws made from Zeus and Hera, the first law is that, gods shall not interfere with mortal conflicts unless it threatens your domains. The second law is that gods cannot steal each other's symbol of powers.

The third law is that gods cannot visit their children, the only exception is that if your on the battle field and you encounter each other or if your just visiting for 10 minutes. The fourth law is that gods cannot fight any mortal, demigod, or monster unless being challenged, challenged meaning if they attack you first, or say they want to duel. You are to accept the challenge and put the mortal in his/her's place.

The fifth law is that no one shall overthrow Zeus, if you try this you will get a punishment beyond belief. The sixth law is that every god shall give their demigod children a gift when they are 12 or when they're ready."

"Alright Percy! There's more laws but it's just laws about not overthrowing Zeus and the average no-no stuff you don't do." While Athena was talking Percy could of swore he saw Eros flash in quietly and wink at him. He shook his head at the foolish thought, why would a primordial come into this room?

"Percy pay attention!"

"Fine, but can we move onto combat now please." Percy pleaded Athena looked somewhat amused.

"Sure, put your hand on my shoulder and I'll flash us to the Olympus Arena." Percy reluctantly put his hand on her shoulder. Then they flashed into the Arena it was gigantic it had statues of Apollo, Athena, Zeus, Artemis, Hestia, Hades, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hera, Hermes, Hepheastus, Demeter, Dionysus, Perseus, and an honorary statue to Métis. The exterior had Imperial gold and the interior had Celestial Bronze it was truly magnificent.

Percy used Riptide to slash at Athena, but she blocked with her spear and struck his chest ichor poured out but Percy kept on going.

"Your endurance is good, Perseus but I'm afraid this battle is going to end now." Athena jumped and she threw her spear at Perseus, Percy barely managed to dodge and the spear impaled his right ear. Though, he endured being the god of endurance, Percy was calculating each tactic he should use on Athena and he decided on one. Athena called for her spear again and the spear appeared in her hand so she charged at Percy, he knew that any type of endurance wouldn't help him endure that attack.

So, he outmaneuvered her by using her own momentum and flipped her over, putting his blade onto her neck. "Yield?" Percy felt a mighty pride in himself for outmaneuvering the goddess of strategy.

"Never!" Athena jumped up and sweeped Percy's legs making him fall over and pointed her spear at his neck. "Do you yield?"

"I yield." Percy wasn't disappointed in himself, he almost won against Athena who's been a goddess for like 6 millennia, while Percy was barely a god for 24 hours.
