A defined silhouette, was it for-seeking mischief?

The blinking curtains slowly manoeuvred into the perfect balance of sunlight and dimness. My warm sheets cascaded my bed like a blanket of snow. I slowly opened one eye, aware of my sly brother Aiden. I drifted away.....

"Wake up Bella," Aiden cried. He was playfully jumping on me. His Mario and Luigi pyjamas shining brightly in my eyes. I stammered out of bed whilst the horizon peeks out from the kitchen's blinds. Mum was making pancakes. The fluffy white and creamy batter topped with a spherical drop of jam's aroma meets my nose. I bite into my pancakes.

Aiden and I climb on board the 8:05 bus, farewell mum and proceed toward school. My white t-shirt and grey oversized cardigan make me feel warm.. As if cocooned in my own beds sheets. We approach school....

After school, I fly toward the bus stop, eager to escape the school day. Sara, my best friend joined me, along with my other friend, Tom.
"A question," I regarded, "Do you mind joining me in babysitting one of Aiden's friends on Saturday? They both seemed hesitant....
"Um sure?" Stammered Sara, her long black hair and brown eyes glistening in the sun's rays.
"Why not," added Tom.
Tom's hair STRIKED blonde, his blue eyes shining out of his face.
"I guess it's official, we're babysitting tomorrow!"
