"Mmm... Smells good!", Aiden says.
I serve the bacon and eggs on to two plates.
"Aiden," I ask, "Do you want to go and grab some ice-cream later when Jason arrives?"
"Yes! Sure.."Ting! I receive a text from mum:
Just want to warn you, Jason's a bit mischievous! Good luck... ❤️
Good luck? What's that supposed to mean?Ding-Dong! I walk towards the door. Jason (or at least I think) is standing there. Quite an interesting appearance might I add.... He was wear a yellow t-shirt with a Superman logo on the front. He wore a long tablecloth around his neck (as if portraying a cape) that flew down his back to the ground. His shorts were black and he wore came green gum boots. His face was partially covered by a red eye mask and his arms were hidden beneath some pale gardening gloves.
Ting! Another text message...
"Aiden's just over there Jason.. I'm Bella by the way," I explain as I pick up my phone. From Tom and Sara:
-Sorry can't make it today! TTYLXOX, Sara
-Same! Jay's got a kindy graduation, TomI reply:
-All good! See you Monday!I place my phone down and ask, "Who's ready for ice-cram?"
