The next few days were fun, Ross was hanging out with both Lexi and her friend group aswell as Nathaniel and his friends group. Lucas and Juli still quite highly disliked him and he was fine with that since everyone else in the groups had enjoyed his company. Ross sat in the library for the lunch break reading one of his favourite storys of which was about serial killers, Ross had often read in the library and was starting to do so more now during break since he'd often get into trouble at break with his friend groups. The librarian was quite use to Ross being there and enjoyed the small teen boys company she knew him quite well, she knew the fact that Ross removed his hearing aids when he read so she had learned to lightly tap his shoulder or sign to him when break was over.

Ambrose walked into the library with a sigh, the short teen had a black eye from a fight with Lucas the day prior, spotting Ross Ambrose tilted his head, calling out to Ross.

"Hey, I didn't know you'd be in here!"  He says, the librarian ushers Rose to walk over to him "Uh why?"

"He doesn't have his hearing aids in love, he can't hear you." Mrs. Moon replied

"Hearing aids?" Ambrose mutters confused, heading towards Ross who was seated in a bean bag chair. He sits beside Ross and lightly nudges him with his elbow "Hey" Rose spoke again, the other nearly jumped looking up at the demon male.

"Oh..! Uhm.." Ross shuffled to grab his hearing aids putting them into his ear and looking up at Ambrose "Uhm, Hi..." He mutters "I wasn't expecting anyone from the groups to be here..."

"Oh? You didn't think I'd enjoy reading a few books?" Ambrose asked gently his tone non threatening.

"Honestly I thought you'd prefer playing an instrument in your free time or playing sports." Ross replied.

"I do, I just felt like reading today" Ambrose shrugs "Hearing aids? I didn't know you needed those. Something happen or were you born like that?"

"I-" Ross looked down "Ehm- please.. Don't tell anyone..... I rather not talk about it right now.."

"ah, ok. I'll make sure to keep it to myself then."

"Wait really..?" Ross asked in a surprise tone.

"Lucas is the only asshole that hangs out with us, why do you think I'd go around telling everyone something you don't want to be widely known?" Ambrose asked with a flicking tail "Its not nice to assume things of people."

"I- I know.. I'm sorry.. I guess I'm just so use to assholes in my life.." Ross replied looking down with an ashamed expression.

"Aye, no, don't apologize mate. Its alright. I understand why you'd expect such thing from me, a demon."

"No! This isn't about race man!" Ross yelped.

"What?" Ambrose laughs "I'm not trying to make you the bad guy-"

"But you're trying to make it seem like you're a bad guy! You're not." Ross says with furrowed eyebrows though his face was mostly covered by his bushy blue-grey hair, Ambrose just giggled at the human with an amused tail twitch.

"Man, You're an odd guy."

"Thanks...?" Ross replied in a questioning tone.

"Class is starting soon. Finish up here. I'll cya around." Ambrose said before getting up and heading to the graphic novels.

"Wait-! Y-You're not gonna tell anyone right..?" Ross asked with urgency in his tone as he tapped his hearing aid behind his bushy hair.

"Don't worry man, your dumb secrets fine with me. Deaf or blind I couldn't care less, I'm just glad you're my friend." Rose said flipping through a book before putting it away to look for another he may like.
