"Get up boy! We gotta get on the road!" My dad yelled from the other side of my door
"I'm up!" I yelled
I got up and sat there stuck for like five minutes. I finally got up and went to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I went back to my room and put on a hoodie and some sweat pants with a pair of crocs.
"Seven come onnnnn" Seylah yelled from the other side of my door
"Ard I'm coming"
I grabbed my MacBook, head phones, charges, and my jewelry box. I put it all in my book back and walked down the stairs to see Saph, my grandma, sister, father, Auntie True, and my gpa.
"My nigga going to college!" Saph said rushing to me and dapping me up
"Purrr!" Sey yelled
"Let's go yall. We already running late. The furniture people already there" my dad said
"Good. They can do all the work" Gma said
All the bags were split between my car and my dads truck. Sey, Saph, DJ, and I got in my car while everybody else rode with my dad.
"You sure you can drive all the way out there baby?" Gma asked me
"Yes maw. I got it"
"Okay baby! Y'all be safe. SAPHIR BEHAVE YOURSELF!" She yelled
"No ma'am! Go Nigga go!" He said
I laughed and began driving to Morgan State. I recently graduated and I didn't want to go to a college that was too far but one that is enough for me to be away and still come home quick.
"Sevy can we stop at McDonald's" Sey asked me
"Yea"
I drove to the nearest McDonald's drive thru and got all of us some breakfast. I got comfortable for the hour and 56 minute ride.

"Yo lil ass had to get an apartment? Why you ain't try a dorm out first?" Gpa asked me
"I don't wanna live with a random ass person" I said
"I get it. My first night in jail I had to stab ah nigga for being on some gay shit. Slim deadass laid next to me and— Louis shut the fuck up. He don't wanna hear that shit" Gma said cutting him off
"Seven come here" my dad said
I followed him towards my balcony and we walked on it. He closed the door and we both sat down.
