"Helloooo?" I said to Maw over the phone
"Yea Gma has a life too. Come get your baby Seven I'm not playing" Gma said
"You asked to see him" I said smacking my teeth
"No no no you asked me did I wanna see him"
"But Ari here and ion wa—" she cut me off
"Ion wanna hear dat shit. You decided to do what you did so you deal with it. You got 45 minutes or I'm calling cps. Matter a fact I'll bring him to you" she said
"Ard Maw" I said smacking my teeth
Not even 5 minutes later these was knocking at my door and I went to open it.
"Ivy why is you here?" I whisper yelled
"Umm my son is here... duh" she said looking at me like I'm stupid
"No he not, he with my grandmuva"
"Why is he with her if I left him with you?" She asked raising her voice
"Can you be quiet!" I said smacking my teeth
"Why? You got another bitch in here?!" She asked pushing me out the way but I grabbed her
"Ivy'Anna I'm not fucking playing, chill out. My daughter sleep" I said and she mugged me
"You think I give a fuck?!"
"Stop playin wit me yo. I'll smack the fuck outta you goofy" I said gripping her chin hard
"Get the fuck off me!" She said pushing me
She angrily walked to the living room and sat down. I took a deep breath and Promise started to whine. I took some milk out the freezer and put it in the bottle warmer then went to get her.
"I'm right here lil girl " I said picking her up
I changed her diaper real quick and walked out to the bottle warmer but that shit was so bout it was steaming.
"You couldn't turn that shit off for me?" I asked Ivy smacking my teeth
"Not my kid, not my job" she said scoffing
I groaned and put the bottle in the freezer. Promise started crying harder and I was trying everything to get her to stop. I looked at the time and realized Ari got off not too long ago and should be here soon.
"Can you wait in yo car or somethin?" I said
"No Nigga. Fuck I look like. I'm not leaving until my son gets here" she said crossing her legs
I texted Maw to see where she was at and she said she like 10 minutes away. I took her bottle out the freezer and it was a good temperature for her so I started feeding her and she finally stopped crying.
